Top outlets Fred Segal and Kitson have dropped her DVB denim range after poor sales and complaints about a lack of promotional work.
The news will come as a bitter blow to Posh, who is keen to launch a career as a fashion designer.
Her jeans are over £100 and when she launched the range, she said: “I want everything to be perfect.
“I’m not just a celebrity with a licensing deal. There isn’t a single rivet or button that goes on a pair of jeans that I haven’t designed or tested myself.”
Fraser Ross, owner of Kitson, said: “We asked her PR people so many times for her to appear but she didn’t. Celebrity lines are no different from an album or music tour. They have to be promoted to sell.”
Yikes! Do you think other stores will follow suit and drop DVB or are her jeans still hot enough to continue to sell?

I don’t think every store will drop her unless the sales are really bad. They may sell better in some locations than others. I do agree that she should stand behind her product by actively promoting it. It sounds like Kitson just got fed up and they are right in dropping her. Maybe stores should make her agree to a contract stating that she will make X amount of personal appearances for promotion in order for the store to carry her line.
Honestly, I haven’t seen her denim do well in ANY of the stores I shop. They have all been marked down to about $100 (can) with tons of sizes/styles to choose from. These stores include Artiza! And pusch didn’t seem to be doing so well with them either.
I think there just wasn’t much hype with her line and then at the same time RR came out with a new crown design and the median crystals which everywhere I go are sold out/out of stock or one size is left.
I think the line was a flop and anyone I know thinks her line sucks!
A little back didn’t she get into some heat for not wearing her own denim line enough? Seems like she’s just trying to cash in on her celeb status and isn’t really behind her product.

I’m not fond of her line either. I don’t like the design on the back pockets and the price probably would make the sales worse.
She really doesn’t seem to be promoting her brand at all. I mean she has been seen at Saks promotional events, but you rarely hear about it. Didn’t she get told a while back to start wearing her brand more? If she isn’t even wearing it why should anyone else, right?
