G-Star has named Vincent Gallo as the face of the brand’s Fall 2011 ad campaign. Shubhankar Ray, Global Brand Director of G-Star RAW, explains that Vincent brings a unique look to the campaign: “Vincent is unorthodox, authentic, imperfect and raw; all characteristics matching G-Star’s DNA. We are happy to have an independent trailblazer and cultural artist like Vincent as our new face.”
The ads, which were shot in black and white, feature Gallo and Gemma, both wearing 3301 by G-Star, and were shot by photographer Anton Corbijn in Marseille. The campaign will go live in September but you can check out a preview of the fall collection below.
