Celebs in Denim: Chris Brown in PRPS
Chris Brown hits up the Urban Outfitters store on Melrose Avenue, with a few friends, to pick-up some fresh new gear while he waits to hear his sentencing fate for assaulting onetime girlfriend and R&B singer, Rihanna. Chris was due to be sentenced last week, but has had his sentencing delayed while the judge determines if Chris can serve his community labor and probation in the state of Virginia. Chris is wearing cut off PRPS jeans I can’t say I’m a fan of guy’s in denim shorts…or a fan of Chris Brown.

Rihanna stopped at Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery in New York, wearing a very cute Denim mini dress, blue Louboutins and a pretty head band. I just love Rihanna’s style now, she has changed so much over the past year, her new hair style, her new military inspired clothes… she has adopted a completely new look. I love her figure too, she’s womanly and curvy, she hasn’t given in to the size 0 phase and not eating. I’m not referring to those of you lucky enough to have such a slim figure, I mean stars like Lindsay Lohan who had curves and are now skeletal. Rihanna looks great, she has become quite the denim diva!

** Thank you to those of you who emailed. Rihanna’s jeans are Current/Elliott cropped legging jean with long zippers in Bluebird wash. They are going on my wishlist! They are also available to pre order from Singer22.
The writers and I have been trying to figure out Rihanna’s ankle zipper jeans for a while now but we just can’t ID them. Can you denim experts out there ID them? We originally thought Current/Elliott based on how the wash looks and the long pockets but there is no Current/Elliott marking on the back waistband even though the button looks the same. Rihanna looked beautiful as she went out to dinner with a friend to Philippe Chow Chinese restaurant in New York. She is wearing a pair of J Brand 912 Torn jeans in Jett with shiny, sparkly boots. She has changed her style so much lately from how she used to dress, what do you think of this dramatic change in Rihanna? I like it, she’s developed a more unique, edgy style.

Our lovely denim diva, Rihanna, was caught by the paps as she return to her hotel wearing Current/Elliott Roll Up Short in High Low Destroy Wash. I love how she wears her white shirt billowing with a cute orange bra underneath. Her purse looks to be denim as well, but I can’t confirm that. She always has the best outfits!
