Rihanna in Designer Jeans
Rihanna was spotted carrying a frame of all her platinum records into her hotel in New York City. She wore a pair of James Jeans Couture Skinny jeans in Vesper with some Timbs and the Acne Velocite jacket.
I find the colors of the jeans and jacket to work really well together, but usually I find that Rihanna can pull off pretty much anything, even these work boots. Although, here they look very heavy paired together with the jacket and skintight jeans, in my opinion. The thing that is making up for this look though is the jacket, I find it to be pretty much one of the most perfect jackets that I have ever seen. I think Rihanna styled the mini skirt really well with the button up. It is nothing like the way it was when the trend was big back in the ’03/’04 era. Then again, what can she not wear and pull it off gracefully? I can do without the belt, but pairing it with the button up really helped class up this look. Back in New York, Rihanna was out to dinner at Emilio’s Batallo. Earlier in the day, she wore her Citizens of Humanity Avedon Slick skinny jeans in Axel with a cropped black sweatshirt and gold heels.
Rihanna has worn these jeans quite a bit the past month, frequently styling them with jeans and a tee shirt. I like how she styled these with a cropped top which shows of the higher rise of the jeans and I do like the gold accents. You can buy Citizens of Humanity jeans from SINGER22.com here.
Rihanna was seen leaving her hotel to run errands in New York City yesterday while still sporting her cropped hair. I have noticed a lot of people chopping off their locks over the past few months, Anne Hathaway, Miley Cyrus and Rihanna just to name a few. I wonder if they are going to bring the short pixie look back in style?
Rihanna chose to wear her Balmain Homme jeans again with black heels and a bomber jacket. I haven’t really been fond of her style as of late, but I quite like this one. It’s toned down and simple and everything goes. It’s actually nice to see the wash of these Balmain jeans clearly as well, you can see the dirt and rust details grounded into the denim.
