Back in February, Pharrell and G-Star announced a collaboration of a denim collection featuring recycled materials. The collection, made from recycled plastic, features a quirky octopus print icon. The icon appears both alone as well as in an intricate print on both men’s and women’s styles, including bomber jackets and skinny jeans. The collection is priced at $75 and is available for purchase online at G-Star.com.
Pharrell Williams took to the stage at the Wireless festival in London earlier this month. The musician kept to his favorite brand at the moment, Levi’s. This time he chose a denim jacket to pair with some dark washed jeans.
I love the personal details that Pharrell added to the jacket. The beaded pins, distressing and tie-dyed bleached wash just looks amazing. It adds so much appeal to the jacket and is a piece that I hope becomes a limited addition to Levi’s, or hopefully, a collaboration with Pharrell? Pharrell is always the eclectic when it comes to his style, so I am not surprised to see him wear a pair of customized UGG boots. He is probably the only one that can make them look appropriate for a non-loungy occasion. What do you think of the shoes? You can click here to purchase 501′s from the Levi’s website.
The ladies aren’t the only ones loving their vintage Levi’s 501s. To attend the annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London, England, Pharrell Williams donned a pair styled in his signature dapper way.
There seems to be a trend in 501s as of late and I could not be more happy about it. From redone tailored pairs to keeping them at their original state, we have been seeing them a lot recently. They are just such a classic pair and the original pair, so as a denim lover, I could not react in any other way while seeing them gain popularity again.
