Nicole Richie in JET Jeans
Nicole Richie was caught doing some last minute shopping in Beverly Hills, California. She pulled out an old pair of JET jeans in Navy from the back of her closet and paired it with a Helmut Lang Mongolian Fur/Leather jacket. I am so happy to see Nicole back in these. They are one of my favorite washes that JET has come out with. Now to see her back in the custom destroyed pair.
Many celebrities are pulling out their old jeans. I think I have come up with the answer…the cold. The newer jeans now are a lot thinner than what they used to be. Nicole Richie in a customized Levi’s Denim Jacket
Nicole Richie was seen leaving her local gym in Studio City. It does look like she’s switched things up when it comes to her gym attire. Normally we see Nicole in a Hudson or Paige denim jacket, but this time she chose a customized version from Levi’s. This is definitely a different look for who usually sticks to bohemian rather than rocker styles, but I think it suits her well. I hope we see her wear it again with something besides work out clothes! I wonder if she had it customized herself?
Chanel Pre-Fall 2012
I can see the dreadlocks and head-wraps on the fashion elites on the magazines and streets now. Karl Lagerfeld has the ability to turn the unusual into something that all the fashion gals have got to have, i.e. creepers and flatforms.
For the Pre-Fall this year, Karl was inspired by Bombay, India. With the sense of layering and drapery of the clothing that is true to the former city. The looks were styled with tons of jewelry (headpieces, bangles, etc) that will make Nicole Richie swoon. Along with the gold lamé leggings and layered trousers, Karl also featured the trend of the moment, velvet trousers. These weren’t the ordinary velvet ones that everyone else is doing. They have a bronzy, gold sheen to them when they hit the light. Though being so heavily inspired by Indian culture, there is still the soul of Chanel in each look. New Styles by Textile Elizabeth and James
Check out these new styles by Textile Elizabeth and James. They kept the true sole of the brand with these styles with the new details and washes.
There is their staple jean, the Jimi Flare. These come in three new washes; a clean blue, a distressed medium blue, and one with whipstitching on the outseams. The whipstitched pair would have to be my favorite out of the three. I think it is a great new take on their classic flares. I hope to see those out, Nicole Richie would look great in them.
They also brought back their Morrison jeans for Pre-Spring as well. Instead of the classic blue denim, Textile chose a technicolor wash. One style that I am so happy to see that they brought back are the Debbie jeans and they brought it back with a tear. Nothing beats a distressed jean in my mind. The Debbie jeans would have to be my favorite of the Textile jeans. One of the best skinny jeans that I have tried. You can check out all of the styles below.
Nicole Richie in Ksubi
I love that Nicole Richie is starting to venture out and try new brands. She was recently doing some press shopping at Satine Boutique in Los Angeles, California. She wore a pair of Ksubi Super Skinny Zip jeans in Black. Nicole seems to love black and red together. She has been caught in the color combination quite a few times recently.
I love that she is back in a pair of Ksubis. We rarely get any sightings of the brand. I just love their jeans. They aren’t afraid to think outside the box, plus they were one of the first brands to introduce skinny jeans to the world. You can click here to purchase these jeans at Farfetch for $169.
Nicole Richie in Joe’s Jeans
Nicole Richie was spotted leaving a hair salon in West Hollywood, California a few days ago. I find the Nicole is looking better than ever lately, not just with her clothes but she seems to be glowing and looking really healthy.
She chose to wear a pair of Joe’s straight leg jeans in Becca with black boots, a plaid red shirt and a black fluffy jacket. I really like the combination of reds and blacks together, I think they contrast each other nicely! The zebra print on the bag also adds some fun to this look.
