The Fall/Winter 2012 Mugler collection has to be my favorite collection since Nicola Formichetti took the role of Creative Director a few seasons back. I see these pieces as art, at the level of Alexander McQueen pieces. There are very few that can take it to the extreme and do it well.
There is something very new and appealing about this collection. The silhouettes are really great as well. I like that all the pieces were structured this season compared to the previous desert inspired collection where everything was very free. Although many of the looks were extreme, there were some wearable pieces. You can see the collection below.
