Mary Kate Olsen
I just love this shot of Mary-Kate Olsen as she was spotted heading back to her seat at the Knicks game in New York last month. The designer wore her custom-made jeans by Maxfield Los Angeles with a trench coat and sweater.
I think it is safe to say that Mary-Kate is most likely the “Queen” of distressed denim. I have never seen her wear a pair of jeans that has not ended up with a rip sooner or later in its life. Even when it comes to designing, distressing is always prominent in Mary-Kate’s Textile line. How many of you will always be fans of distressing?
It looks like someone pulled out some old jeans from the back of the closet. Mary-Kate Olsen was caught out in her lovely custom-made jeans by Maxfield Los Angeles as she was leaving the office in New York. Aside from these jeans, I think Mary-Kate’s jacket is amazing. The cut and details of it are really cool.
I wonder if Mary-Kate or sister, Ashley, will be getting a new pair of these made again? Or if they’ll replicate them for Textile? I would love to see them do these for Textile as they are one of my favorite jeans of all time and I would be the first in line for them. But maybe with back pockets, as this particular pair doesn’t have any.
Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted arriving at the Greenwich Hotel in New York. The designer wore a pair of my personal favorite, the Textile Elizabeth and James Cooper Jeans in Midnight. I just love these jeans. They have an amazing faded black wash that just work for everyday and the fit is just perfect. It has just enough of a crop to still look full length without too much bunching at the ankles.
It’s been a while since I have seen Mary-Kate wear a layered look like this. She along with her sisters are ones that definitely have the layering concept down. You can click here to purchase Textile from Shopbop.

I think this is a sighting that is well overdue. It has been a while since we have seen Mary-Kate Olsen in a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James jeans. For the 2013 Tribeca Ball at New York Academy of Art, the designer chose to wear a pair of the Cooper jeans in Midnight with a coat.
One thing I do wish is that Mary-Kate showed more of the front of the jeans. The details are so amazing that they deserve to be showed off. You can click here to purchase Textile Elizabeth and James from Shopbop.
