Ashley Olsen in Custom-Made Jeans by Maxfields LA
Ashley Olsen was spotted leaving Nobu in Tribeca, New York after having a date with boyfriend Justin Bartha. She was wearing an amazing pair of custom-made jeans that were made for her a few years back by Maxfields Boutique in Los Angeles, California. They are the same jeans she wore on the Denim Issue of Nylon Magazine back in 2006 (how appropriate).
I have been waiting to blog about these jeans. They are absolutely one of my favorites that I have ever seen on any celebrity since the skinny jeans craze took off and still are. I just love everything about them from the zippers to the trouser-style pockets and even the white stitching. They are truly unique. I can’t wait till she and/or Mary-Kate get spotted in these again because they have both been spotted in them quite a few times before.
Mary-Kate Olsen in Earnest Sewn
Mary-Kate Olsen was spotted outside her apartment in New York. She was wearing her perfectly fitting pair of Earnest Sewn. These jeans look to have been worn out a bit. I think this is the first time I have ever seen Mary-Kate not in a pair of distressed jeans for this long. She usually gets a new pair and rips them up after a couple weeks. It is nice to see her in a great clean dark blue pair.
Though these were custom fitted for just her. Earnest Sewn has come out with this wash in a their Harlan fit. You can buy them at RevolveClothing for $178.
Mary-Kate Olsen in Earnest Sewn
Yes! One of the Olsens is back in Los Angeles. I always thought their LA style was better than their New York style. The main reason was because they wore so much denim here. But also because they used to dress up more. Now it seems like you only spot them in trousers, leggings or dresses (Well… Ashley at least). If only Ashley came back and stayed back here for a bit.
At first glance I thought this was Lindsay Lohan, but it is not. Mary-Kate was spotted wearing a pair of Earnest Sewn jeans making her way through LAX Airport. I love these jeans and their ripped up pair that they wore a few years back. I think they are both such great washes. I heard Earnest Sewn is their brand of choice due to the custom alterations that they offer. No wonder why their jeans are such a great fit on them.
Kristin Cavallari in Textile Elizabeth and James
Kristin Cavallari was spotted having a shopping spree with “The Hills” cast mate Audrina Patridge on Rodeo Drive. She was wearing the Jimi Bootcut jeans by Textile Elizabeth and James. This is the first time someone was spotted wearing the denim brand by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I think they did a really great job with getting the vintage essence into these jeans, I do get the ’70s feel with these jeans. You can purchase these jeans at IntermixOnline for $245.
