Katie Holmes was seen leaving the Joe Allen restaurant after having some lunch in New York City a couple of days ago. She looked quite smiley as she passed the paparazzi.
Katie wore a pair of J Brand skinny jeans with a very fluffy sweater and black booties. One thing that annoys me a lot is fluff on my jeans, I get it a lot if I wear a twill jean or a really dark colour. I think Katie definitely didn’t wear the correct jeans for this sweater at all. What the airport is to Kristen Stewart and The Beckham’s, the dance studio is to Katie Holmes. She has been spotted numerous times going for a dance session. I wonder if it is for leisure or workout?
She wore a pair of Current/Elliott Stiletto Skinny Jeans in Red Rose to go to the dance studio in Hollywood, California. Another thing that Katie seems to be a fan of is pairing new jeans trends with a denim shirt. For this instance, I don’t think it works. Maybe if she tucked her shirt in at the front, it would have made the look better. I do like the pairing of the jeans with the shoes though. They go really well together, in my opinion. Katie Holmes was spotted leaving her apartment with daughter Suri in New York. She wore pair of Etoile Isabel Marant Abelo Jeans with of course her favorite Marant boots. I do wish these jeans were a bit longer. Katie is so tall though that it must be a struggle to find jeans her length.
Katie is quickly taking the spot as the unofficial Isabel Marant spokesperson away from Kate Bosworth. Unlike Kate though, Katie wears more denim from the french fashion house, which I like. I think she makes some great washes and adds some great detail with her prints and zippers. I would like to see her wear a pair of the River cords next. Top 10 Denim Diva’s of 2011
Here is our annual Top 10 Denim Diva’s of the year post and this one is for 2011. We are using the same scoring system that we usually do, which is the number of times each celeb has been blogged plus how many different brands they wore, giving us the total number. You can see the 2010 post here and you can see that this years list has had a big change! I never expected 1st and 2nd place! Is the list what you expected? Some of the celebs did tie so in that situation they are put alphabetically.
