Louis Vuitton Spring 2012
Feathers, cut-outs, pastels, more feathers, horses, white, even more feathers and the return of Kate Moss were all over the Spring 2012 Collection of Louis Vuitton.
The collection was the complete opposite of the darker colors of the past, but one thing that will never change about Vuitton are the looks looking nothing less than pristine. You will never see one that is off from this fashion house, ever. This collection was a lot more whimsy than the previous. There were flower cut-outs and even an illuminated dress. Kate Moss in Isabel Marant
Kate Moss was caught outside her hotel in Paris, France to make her way to walk the Louis Vuitton show. She wore her two favorite brands, a pair of white leather Isabel Marant pants from the Fall 2010 collection with some Balmain boots. I think the pairing of the two is a bit awkward looking. Or maybe her pants need to be more fitted?
Marc Jacobs recently stated that Kate offered to close his show this season again, which she did. He also said that he would love to turn it into a tradition and do it each season. I am happy to hear that Kate is wanting to return to the runway. I would like to see her walk some more shows like Marant, or McQueen as well.
Kate Moss in Siwy
Kate Moss was caught outside her house in London, England. She opted for her Siwy Hannah jeans in It’s Magic again. I guess you cannot keep the Queen of Skinny Jeans away from the trend she started for too long. Even though this is all black, I do like this look. I do think it makes her look about 5’2″ instead of 5’7″ though. I think the shirt is really flattering. I like the way it loosely skims her hips.
I wonder if we will be seeing Kate wear some of the Siwy tops. She seems to love the jeans and I think she’ll look great in some of the shirts, like the Stevie and Ryder shirt. You can click here to purchase Siwy jeans at Singer22.

Kate Moss in Siwy
Kate Moss was caught leaving the Groucho Club in London, England after having a night out. She gave her skinny Siwy’s a rest and opted for the Siwy Penelope jeans in It’s Magic. Kate must be going through her wide-leg and flare jeans phase again. I remember seeing her a few years back wearing her J Brand Lovestory’s non-stop. It looks like she discovered the Siwy ones though, so I’m sure she’ll be wearing these out a lot.
I think Siwy is the first brand that Kate seems to absolutely LOVE. She is rarely ever caught in a pair of jeans by someone else. She has been caught in others, but this brand is rarely ever seen off her bottom half. I don’t blame her though. They are amazing. Now that they are making flares, I think Kate won’t have to limit herself to the skinnies. I hope to see her in some more of the flared Siwys, hopefully some of their blues. Dsquared² Spring 2012
I do like the new Spring 2012 Dsquared² collection, but I just find the styling of the show to be too wearable to be a fashion show in Milan. The inspiration of course was the music festivals. I can see Glastonbury, Coachella, and a bit of Burning Man. The styling, two celebrities come to mind, Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Moss. The mud would go to Kate Moss/Glastonbury, while the more boho hipster look is more Vanessa.
I do like the vibe of the show, it is very much me. I just expected a bit more from Dsquared². This is what they do best though, wearable easy clothes. You can click through some of the looks from the collection below.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was caught at Heathrow Airport in London, England. She wore a pair of Burberry Leather leggings with a Burberry jacket and shirt. Rosie just looks absolutely amazing each time I see her. Crazy enough to say…I think she has become my new favorite British model when it comes to her style. Only due to the fact that Rosie has a bit more life in her candid outfits than The Great Kate (at present time).
I wonder if we will be seeing Rosie walk in any of the shows this season. I would like her to do the Paris shows. I think she would do amazing at the Balmain, Marant, Gaultier and Dior shows. She has that edgy sultriness that works for all those shows. I think she is a lot more versatile than the fashion business thinks. Click here to purchase these leggings at Burberry for $1695.
