Kanye West Fall/Winter 2012
When I saw the new Kanye West Fall/Winter collection, I thought, “Kanye really took his time this season and took his time micromanaging every aspect to make sure everything actually fit this time.” I thought it was a good idea. Now he proved that he is just not “Good Style,” but also has potential to actually be a force in the designing world.
The collection was true to Kanye. There was leather, fur, body-con, velvet, and a touch of avant garde throughout the collection. I think the shoes are pretty insane. My favorite pieces would have to be the jacket above and from look 18. Those are perfect jackets for when the cold hits again. You can see the full collection below.
Kanye West in Double Denim
Kanye West was doing some London Fashion Week rounds in London, England. He wore a double denim look to the show consisting of a Balmain Homme denim jacket, some really light-washed blue jeans and what looks to be a mint green Mugler sweater. Actually looking closely, I think this is a triple denim look. He looks to have a denim shirt tied around his waist.
It’s been a while since Kanye wore this jacket. It’s nice to see that he doesn’t wear clothing from season to season and that he actually purchases staples that he can wear often at anytime. You can click here to purchase Balmain Homme at Mr. Porter.
