It’s been a while since I have seen a pair of Balenciaga jeans on someone. I think the last time I saw someone in a pair, it was either Ashley Olsen or Lindsay Lohan about five or six years ago. Unlike Lindsay and Ashley, Clemence Poesy chose a black washed pair by the fashion house. I hope to see Kristen Stewart wear a pair. One, being that she loves jeans and two, she is the new face of Balenciaga.

Clemence Poesy and Vincent Gallo were named the newest faces of G-Star Raw. Check out their images from the Spring 2012 ad campaign. G-Star said on working with Clemence, “G-Star is proud to work with the internationally recognized and fast rising French actress as she reflects the characteristic brand DNA: she is a confident, strong and in control woman without compromising her femininity.” I feel like these photos did such a remarkable job of capturing that feel!
Both Clemence and Vincent are modeling G-Star’s Arc jean, which is the second part of the brand’s ongoing 3D denim innovation. Images from the campaign will be in print starting February and released on billboards in April.
G-Star held an event for their new store opening on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. Stars like new Spring 2012 campaign girl, Clemence Poesy, Mark Ronson and even Mischa Barton, all attended. Guests checked out the new store while Mark Ronson DJ’d the event.
The event wasn’t just a store opening, it also hosted as an art exhibition as well to showcase the work of Anton Corbin. All the hand-crafted pieces included denim, by G-Star of course. Also at the event, G-Star held a pop-up show to showcase their denim on models. You can see the artwork, as well as images of the event below.
