Current/Elliott’s perfect shirt is one piece that has been worn in so many different ways by so many different celebrities. Jessica Simpson layered hers over a floral romper, Ciara, Hailey Duff, and Kate Hudson each paired theirs with jeans, while both Jennifer Garner and Drew Barrymore dressed their shirts up with skirts and Lea Michele and Vanessa Lachey kept their looks casual with leggings. Ciara in Current/Elliott The Perfect Shirt & Siwy High Waisted Drainpipe Jeans
Ciara was spotted leaving The Ivy in West Hollywood, California. She wore double denim look for the lunch. She chose to pair The Perfect Shirt by Current/Elliott with a pair of Siwy High Waisted Drainpipe jeans in Jet.
This is the first time we have spotted a pair of high waisted Siwy jeans, well this is the first time I, myself, have seen a higher rise by them. Ciara in Balmain Flares
Ciara was spotted at the premiere of her new movie That’s My Boy in Westwood, California. She wore a pair of Balmain flares with a white button-up and white heels.
I think the gold with the white is amazing together. Though I do wish that she wore a different pair of shoes. Though I am a fan of the all white look, I am not a fan of the style of shoe. With the platform, I think, it looks a bit too disco. I think a pair with a lower platform with a rounder cap or a pair of clean sandals would have looked better. Denim Trend: Floral Print Denim
Floral print denim is a huge trend this Spring/Summer season. It’s slowly been popping up all over the place as brands have been releasing their take on the trend. Jenna Dewan-Tatum was the first celeb that we blogged about wearing floral jeans, we are still unsure on the brand of hers though! Next was Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays, she opted for a pair of Paige floral jeans and then most recently it was Ciara, she chose the Citizens of Humanity floral printed shorts. I think they all styled their jeans pretty well.
I’m wondering who we might see next in the trend? I’m hoping Jessica Alba might buy into it, she’s already on board the neon denim trend, so you never know! There are some pairs that I like, like the red J Brand’s, the Citizens of Humanity shorts, the yellow Siwy shorts and the Paige floral jeans. I do find the Paige ones slightly over powering though, I’m not sure if I could pull those off.
