Ashley Olsen was spotted bundled up while walking her friend’s dog through the West Village in New York. The designer wore a pair of Textile Elizabeth and James Johnny Jeans in Onyx with a sweater from The Row’s 2013 Resort collection over a coat and Balenciaga boots. Ashley finished off her layered look with the amazing backpack and purse, both from The Row.
I love that Ashley is constantly being caught in Textile recently. There are so many styles that I think will look so cool on her, especially the Davis. Those are next on my want list from the brand. Who is best to promote your brand when you are an Olsen? When your style is as iconic as theirs, no one is better than yourself. Ashley Olsen did just that when she was spotted catching a flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California. The designer wore one of her own pieces from the new Spring 2013 Textile Elizabeth and James collection, the Johnny in Onyx with some Celine sneakers.
What I love about these jeans is that it is reminiscent of their Custom Maxfield’s jeans. Not exactly, but they have the same vibe. When I first saw them in the new look book (see here), I became instantly excited. Then when I saw that they came in black, I became elated. I cannot wait for these to be available! Well this is a rare sighting to get. Both Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen out at the same time. Both were also donning some custom-fitted Earnest Sewn jeans. Ashley chose a gray pair. While Mary-Kate chose a pair in a faded black wash, which she paired with another pair of Haider Ackermann oxfords.
One thing I love about these two is that they wear their jeans to the death. The details that gets put on their jeans are truly their own. One pair I do wish they didn’t though were the Maxfield’s.
