Twilight star Ashley Greene graces the cover of the August 2012 Denim Issue of Nylon Magazine. On the cover she is wearing a pair of denim shorts by Element with a Vintage Blazer by Moschino and a T-Shirt and Bandanna by What Goes Around Comes Around. During the 4 page spread within the magazine, Ashley posed in more denim! She wore a shirt and a pair of jeans by Denim & Dupply Ralph Lauren and some shorts from Topshop and Guess. I love the styling for this editorial! I’ve also included some highlights below from the interview.
On her past modeling days:
“I knew I was never going to be a supermodel. I mean, I’m 5’5″—it’s not going to happen unless you’re Kate Moss, which I’m not. And until you hit a certain level in the modeling world, it’s really rough: You’re never tall enough, you’re never thin enough, there’s always another girl. It just wasn’t for me anymore.”
On her instant Twilight stardom:
“Right when I was cast, my IMDb STARmeter [a chart that tracks actors based on how many searches are done on them] went through the roof—all of ours did, and we hadn’t even done anything yet! Now I have to remind myself that not everything is always going to be like that.”
On dating and the paparazzi:
“Imagine going out with a girl one night, then the next day she’s like, ‘We’re hooking up! This is serious! It’s this overload of someone saying, ‘This is what this is, even though we’ve only been on one date and I don’t even know your middle name.’ Everything has a title immediately.”

Ashley Greene was seen having some fun at Coldwater Canyon Park over the weekend in Beverly Hills, California.
Ashley wore a pair of 7 For All Mankind distressed skinny jeans with some black boots and a tank top. I think the wash of these jeans is really pretty, it’s definitely one that looks worn in and very well done! Buy 7 For All Mankind online at Singer22.com.
Ashley Greene picked up some drinks while out in LA wearing a pair of J Brand’s Mid-Rise Capri pants in Sugar Cane. She paired them with J Brand’s Duffy tank, part of the brand’s ready-to-wear collection and a pair of Rachel Zoe flats.
I like the mix of the subtle pattern on the top mixed with the jeans, the key to mixing patterns is to coordinate colors and I think that Ashley pulled it off well. I’ve been loving J Brand’s Ready-to-wear collection, many of the pieces have the same clean lines as the brand’s jeans. You can buy Ashley’s jeans and blouse both online from J Brand.

We don’t often get that many sightings of Ashley Greene in denim on DenimBlog, but we just recently spotted this one! She was seen leaving an office in Los Angeles, California.
Ashley wore a pair of James Jeans Twiggy 5 pocket leggings in Kohl Blue with a peachy coloured tank top and sandy coloured shoes. The Twiggy is my favourite cut from James Jeans, it’s so stretchy and comfortable while being so flattering, I love it! Buy James Jeans online at Singer22.com.
