For my weekend going out look, I chose these Topshop Moto High Rise jeans. I love the darker indigo wash and the higher rise, and thought they’d be fun to style a semi-casual look around. For a blouse, I chose this Cecilie Copenhagen off the shoulder top, which is really feminine and the slightly cropped length shows off the higher rise of the jeans. For shoes, I chose these Paloma Barcelo suede mules, because I love the dark cognac color with the wash of the jeans and I think the raffia wrapped heel has a great summery vibe. Lastly, for accessories, I chose these Express sunglasses, which add a touch of color with the pink frames, and this Alexis Bittar Ribbon Cuff which adds some structure and shine to the outfit. I think this would be a great outfit for anything from running errands or out for dinner and drinks!
I wanted to do something more Western and Boho inspired for my weekend going out look this week. I’ve been living in my vintage Levi’s 501 cut off denim shorts lately, they seem to be all I wear, which is why I chose them as a base for this look as I wore something similar to this on my personal blog. I paired them with a camel tank top and a River Island kimono to really give it some flare, then I chose the Kurt Geiger Karen clog heels to lengthen the legs. For the accessories, I chose an Art Youth triangle ring, a grey stone ring, a BP straw fedora and some Tommy Hilfiger aviators. I think the different elements of brown here really tie this outfit together!
I have been wanting to do a look with a pair of RtA jeans for quite a while. I always thought they had great blue styles that have an edge to them that is unique to the brand itself. You can tell a pair of RtA jeans by just the wash alone, like the Skinny in Light Used here.
For my ‘Weekend’ look, I kept things casual in a different way, yet still feeling like myself. I didn’t want to go for the usual solid t shirt, so I went for an Iron Maiden band tee to layer over a longline tank by The Idle Man. I then chose a pair of the Nike SFB boots as my choice of footwear. There is this vibe that these boots give to the look that nothing can be compared too. They are casual yet have this edge that they give to the look that I love. Of course to finish it all off, a wide brimmed hat by Goorin Bros. I have this hat personally and it is one of my favorite things ever. It’s perfect for the summer. How many of you guys would style your jeans like this?
For my weekend going out look, I chose this 7 For All Mankind braided skirt in vivid medium indigo because I love how the braid trim on the pockets and waistband add a nice touch of detail and interest. I chose this off the shoulder cropped white blouse from Tibi because it is a great updated version of a crisp white button down. Then I added these Alexandre Birman snake print platforms as I love the 70s style vibe they give the outfit. Lastly, I finished with these Oliver Peoples sunglasses and added a touch of color with this wine colored bucket bag from Sophie Hulme.
