With Easter coming up this weekend, I wanted to style a look that was perfect for a brunch and had a lot of great spring colors. I chose these AMO Twist Seam jeans because I love the medium blue wash, which is a perfect background for the bold colors. I chose a neutral white sweater with shoulder floral embellishment detail from ChicWish. I then went with two bold accessories, these bright yellow earrings from Christina Debs because I love the shade of yellow and this pastel clutch from Edie Parker because it reminds me of a dyed egg! Lastly, I added these Loeffler Randall flats because the scalloping shape adds a playful touch to the neutral gold color.
For my weekend going out look, I wanted to do something incorporating the high rise, mom jeans trend that is really popular at the moment. I chose to use the AG Phoebe High Rise Jeans in Inviting Light as they have a great fit to them and a pretty, vintage looking wash which is ideal for the style I wanted.
So for my outfit, I wanted to come up with something that had a model off duty vibe so I layered the gorgeous IRO Ashville Biker Jacket over a white Rag & Bone T-Shirt which would be tucked in loosely at the front. As the jeans are cropped and hit above the ankle, I thought these Gianvito Rossi Ankle Boots would be perfect to stand out underneath them. To add a bit of colour, I chose this yellow Choe Mini Drew Bag to wear cross body underneath the jacket and finally finished with this Rebecca Minkoff Diamond Pendant. If I had the money and these pieces, I would definitely love this outfit.
Coachella is just around the corner! With fashion that is just as big as the musicians playing the event, everyone puts in their ‘A-Game’ for the weekends when it comes to their looks. Whether you chose to bring out your inner flower child or stick with casual looks just like any concert, the idea is minimal (in lack of fabric or classic staples) while still making a statement. It’s a time when you can go loud with your looks or make an impact with simple pieces like these here. Check out the 6 looks inspired by the festival below.
For this week, I chose the RE/DONE|LEVI’S Elsa Jeans as I always loved the concept of them. RE/DONE has taken the classic 501 jeans and turned them into a flared cut with a slit at the inseam. They are also on trend with the early millennium style coming back onto the scene, as the ‘It Girls’ of that time used to always be caught in tailored vintage Levi’s, if not their Frankie B.’s or Sevens.
For the look I wanted to embrace the Spring season that is approaching and went for a feminine modern bohemian sense. I paired the Elsa’s with a shirt by Isabel Marant as it works well with the high rise of the jeans. To keep that bohemian vision, I went for a pair of flat K. Jacques sandals as the way the jeans will fall on them is something that I just absolutely love. I then went for a pair of sunglasses by Linda Farrow, a cuff by Jennifer Fisher and as a finishing touch and to add some structure, a tote by Balenciaga. Overall it’s a look that feels fresh that I can definitely see many women feeling comfortable in and taking on the weekend.
