It’s Valentine’s Day in just a few days and that means it’s time to think of some outfits to go with the theme. Since red and pink play such a huge role where love is concerned, each of our looks include the colours in one way or another. There are three ladies looks and one guys outfit, but one of them contains no denim at all, while the others do. What do you plan on wearing for Valentine’s Day?
Valentine’s Day is when most men don’t mind dressing up for their ladies. I wanted to keep the look easy as most of us men don’t like feeling too fussy, while still feeling smart. I chose a pair of Rag & Bone jeans as my choice in denim. As Valentine’s Day is all about red, I chose a blazer by Balenciaga to wear with a shirt and shoes by Saint Laurent. I then finished it all off with a tie by Lanvin to help pull the whole look together.
For this weekend going out look, I wanted to do something easy and comfortable for a days shopping or at the park. Spring is just around the corner and I’m definitely in the mood for wearing less layers. Some of you lucky ladies in a warmer climate like LA can wear this type of outfit right now though, which is why I styled it.
I chose this girly cream lace dress as I think it’s really comfortable and it makes anyone look put together and smart. To tone it down, I layered this Topshop denim fleece jacket over the top and would wear it un-buttoned to keep it casual. I thought a pair of flats would be better for shopping so I chose these H&M ankle boots to go with the style. I added this long gold anchor necklace for detail and this Jessica Simpson cross body bag to carry all of your essentials. To keep the sun off your face and give it a more laid back vibe, I threw on this cream floppy hat to finish it off.
For my weekend going out look, I chose this pair of Frame Le Skinny de Jeanne in Fairfax Deluxe because I like the lighter wash and slight distressing.
I am ready for spring, so I chose this Erdem Floral print leather jacket because I love the contrast of the pastel flowers with the black jacket. I layered it over this satin Rochas pale pink blouse as I love the contrast of the leather jacket and the delicate satin. I paired it with these Guiseppe Zanotti studded booties, this Givenchy Clutch, and these Dannijo earrings just to finish it off. Are you ready for spring too?
Though not the boldest of colors, I still wanted to keep everything neutral when it came to the other pieces. I paired them with a shirt from T by Alexander Wang because I find grays and colored denim to work very well together. For the shoes, I wanted something that felt classic and would look great with the look if you chose to wear these jeans cuffed or not and these Acne boots are just that.
Then to keep things clean, a jacket by Makintosh. The clean lines and almost invisible pockets keeps the look feeling smart. For the finishing touch, a pair of glasses by Thom Browne because they are a daily staple for myself and work really well with the look. So how would you wear these jeans with this look? Cuffed or un-cuffed?
