I have been meaning to do this post for a little while now, but having the time and different locations to take the outfits took up a lot more time than I expected actually. The reason behind this post is simply because I get a lot of questions about white denim. Can it only been worn in the spring and summer? Can you really wear white after Labour Day? Does white denim work for winter? There are always numerous questions and my answer is generally the same, I wear white all year round, no matter what the season.
Spring has sprung (well in California) and what better way to start it off than by styling a denim jacket. It’s been a while since I did a post on styling a denim jacket and I thought it would be a great idea to do another one. I chose the Genetic Ryder Jacket in Bone because of its not so stark wash. This makes it the perfect transitional piece to wear from Winter to Spring. Plus the leather sleeves add that little bit more to the look, but in a very subtle way.
The maxi dress and denim jacket is a classic Spring look, but I wanted to amp it up a bit more with the accessories to make it a more transitional look. Yes I paired the look here with these Rag & Bone sandals, but you can easily switch it out with some slouchy ankle boots in the Winter.
For my Weekend Going Out Look this week, I wanted to liven things up a little so I chose the Hudson Nico Mid-Rise Super Skinny in London. I think the print on these jeans is gorgeous and I love that the whole scenery livens up the entire look!
I kept everything else toned down and neutral so the jeans were the focal point of the look. I paired them with a River Island Cream Tank Top, a Zalando Black Blazer, some Barney’s New York Criss Cross Ankle Sandals, a River Island Feather Necklace and a Folli Follie Match & Dazzle Ring. This is definitely something I would wear as I do love to wear something bold and bright!
It’s that time of the year again when high-waisted cut-off shorts and barely any clothing is involved. I went the opposite route, minus the high-waisted shorts. For this year’s Coachella post, I wanted to do looks that were more casual and less extreme on the jewelry.
We all know how insane people can get with the accessories during this festival. I did incorporate some jewelry and accessories into some of the looks, but mostly kept everything minimal and looking just comfortable. You can easily add a bevy of jewels to these looks without compromising the breezy Summer feel.
It’s only a couple of weeks away so get your wallets ready to get these pieces. How many of you guys are excited and who are you hoping to see? These next couple of weeks cannot be any longer for me.
