For my weekend going out look, I chose this pair of Frame Le Skinny de Jeanne in Fairfax Deluxe because I like the lighter wash and slight distressing.
I am ready for spring, so I chose this Erdem Floral print leather jacket because I love the contrast of the pastel flowers with the black jacket. I layered it over this satin Rochas pale pink blouse as I love the contrast of the leather jacket and the delicate satin. I paired it with these Guiseppe Zanotti studded booties, this Givenchy Clutch, and these Dannijo earrings just to finish it off. Are you ready for spring too?
Though not the boldest of colors, I still wanted to keep everything neutral when it came to the other pieces. I paired them with a shirt from T by Alexander Wang because I find grays and colored denim to work very well together. For the shoes, I wanted something that felt classic and would look great with the look if you chose to wear these jeans cuffed or not and these Acne boots are just that.
Then to keep things clean, a jacket by Makintosh. The clean lines and almost invisible pockets keeps the look feeling smart. For the finishing touch, a pair of glasses by Thom Browne because they are a daily staple for myself and work really well with the look. So how would you wear these jeans with this look? Cuffed or un-cuffed?
Diesel has always and will continue to amaze me when it comes to their blue washes, which is why I decided to style them three ways for the men this time. I chose their Shioner jeans which have a great dirty wash in a medium blue tone. See the three looks that I came up with below.
This look here is the closest to my own personal style. I can pretty much live in a pair of jeans, a plain t shirt and a military jacket. Then finish everything off with some slip-ons and a cap. I chose this jacket by 3.1 Phillip Lim because it is not the average surplus jacket with tribal wool on the back of it. It feels fresh, yet you can still wear it with everything. I then chose a simple t shirt by BLK DNM and the always classic pair by Vans. Then for the topper, a cap by New Era.
For my weekend going out look this week, instead of creating a night time outfit, I wanted to do a daytime outfit which would be perfect for shopping. I started with the Burberry Brit Westbourne Skinny Jeans in Grey as I am going through a bit of a grey denim phase at the moment. I thought they would be perfect to pair with the Muubaa Lyme Rider Biker Jacket which I layered over the Acne Studios Bird Fleece Cropped Pullover for warmth. This type of combination with skinny jeans, sweaters and leather style jackets is one of my favourites as it’s warm and comfortable at the same time.
To liven things up a bit and add a splash of colour to the monochrome look, I chose these Mod Cloth Make Mine Velvet Oxfords in purple as I think they look gorgeous! Plus, we all need flat shoes when it comes to daytime shopping! To make sure you have enough room to carry everything, I added this beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo Large Batik Shopper in cream as it also matches the colour scheme. Then lastly, for jewellery, I wanted to keep it simple and light so it’s not that difficult when trying on other clothes, so I opted for a Erica Anenberg Mindful Ring and a Pilgrim Hematite Plated Black Necklace. I think both of these pieces are gorgeous and this is definitely a look I would wear myself!
