After seeing these MOTHER The Insider Crop jeans on a few celebrities this week, I decided to style them for my weekend going out look. I chose this embroidered Isabel Marant blouse, which gives the look a bit of a 70s vibe and the cropped length looks great with the higher rise of the jeans. I added these orange River Island espadrilles which add some nice color to the look, as does the cross body Alexander Wang bag. Lastly, I finished the look with this simple gold intertwined ring.
As I’m really loving the thought of Summer right now (despite it being cold and wet here in England), I wanted to do my weekend going out look based around warm weather attire. I chose these Citizens of Humanity Skyler Denim Shorts as they are a bit longer than the usual denim short and offer more coverage, but still look really stylish.
I paired these shorts with this Derek Lam White Blouse and these Valentino Rockstud Sandals to give the look some extra height and maturity. For the accessories, I went with a classic Michael Kors Luggage Tote and some Oliver Peoples Sunglasses to go with it. I then chose this Anine Bing Ring, this Kate Spade New York Watch, a Rebecca Minkoff Long Necklace and finally a Fedora Hat to help beat the sun. This is a look that I would definitely wear when it’s warm enough.
I decided to do a look for the guys this week. Though, I didn’t stray too far from the casual approach when putting the look together. After seeing the AGOLDE x A$AP Ferg collaboration, I knew they were going to be a choice to style at least once for me. They are such cools jeans that I can see many guys in, especially the Skinny in Grit that I chose here.
When thinking of a look, I wanted a shirt that felt more graphic than the usual band tees and this one from the Defend Paris x Empire collection has exactly what I was looking for. The print is eye catching yet is still able to work cohesively with the other pieces, like this Givenchy bomber jacket. Then to finish the look off I chose a pair of simple white Vans and a hat by Norse Project.
With Coachella coming up and the recent trend of denim mini skirts being popular again, I wanted to combine a look for both with my weekend going out look this week. I wanted something simple and stylish with an easy vibe to it, but something that looks chic and feminine at the same time.
For the skirt, I went with the DSquared2 Denim Mini Skirt as I think it’s a great, shorter length (ideal for the hot weather) and it has a pretty wash, something that I look for in all my denim choices. I kept everything really simple with this Jens Pirate Booty Top to keep you cool and give that boho vibe, paired with these Shop Akira Ankle Boots to give some height and style to the look. Now a Coachella inspired look wouldn’t be complete with jewellery, and lots of it, so I went with this Oscar de la Renta Necklace with these Lord & Taylor Bracelets and Charlotte Russe Earrings. I finished things off with a Flower Crown and this beautiful cream Sophie Hulme Bag. What do you think of this outfit?
