As you all may know, I am a huge fan of the Textile Elizabeth and James Cooper Shorts. The details on them are great without taking them overboard; which makes them very versatile and worn for numerous occasions over the Summer. See the three ways I styled them below.
Everyone loves being casual, yet still likes to look put together and not like you just rolled out of bed most of the time. Inspired by staples that most women already have, the pairing of a sweater and sneakers with shorts has to be my favorite combination on any woman. It is understated and clean. I paired the shorts with an IRO sweater, classic The Row x Superga sneakers, then finished it off with accessories by Chloe, Saint Laurent and Elizabeth and James.
I have been a big fan of denim jackets with coated or leather sleeves for a while and particularly love this Rag & Bone’s The Jean Jacket in Tattered. This jacket is a really versatile piece, so I thought it would be fun to style it for my weekend going out look.
Since the weather is warming up, I chose a pair of shorts to style this jacket with. I like the delicate details on these black H&M Lace shorts and how the leather sleeves provide a nice contrast. I chose this black Zara Tank Top because it is a nice simple layer underneath the jacket and won’t distract from it. For accessories, I chose this House of Harlow Feather Necklace because I like the edgier vibe. For a bit of color, I added this red Chloe Bag and finished with these black Zara Heels.
For our J Brand post this month, the team asked me to style their Grayson cargo pant in three different washes: Vintage Grey, Vintage Natural and White. I thought I would do things a little differently with this post and show you how versatile cargo pants can actually be. I chose a girly look with wedges, a casual look with sneakers, and then a chic look with flats. Each of these outfits look great with the Grayson cargo and it proves just how easy they are to wear. The looks are polished and feminine, yet casual and effortless.
For my first outfit above, I styled the Grayson in Vintage Grey with some beige and metallic wedges, an oversized white shirt, a beige YSL clutch and gold bangles to finish it off. I can definitely see this look being worn on a summer day, perhaps out shopping or to lunch with some friends. The outfit is free-flowing yet cohesive, making it the perfect option for elevated daywear.
For my second, I styled the Grayson in White more casually. When I saw the white cargo pants, I immediately thought: heeled sneakers and pastel tones. I paired the pant with Isabel Marant sneakers, a Rebecca Minkoff pink Mini Mac, a Wildfox sweater, and accessorized with sunglasses and a necklace. I love how toned-down and casual this outfit is. I could definitely see this on someone like Jessica Alba or Alessandra Ambrosio.
For my final look, I styled the Grayson in Vintage Natural with a chic twist. I chose to pair the cargo with contrasting flats, an oversized brown cardigan, and accessorized with a Michael Kors watch and bag. This is definitely something I envision for someone working in a fashionable office. The look reminds me of what Olivia Palermo might wear. Even though they are comfortable cargo pants, they can still be dressed up and work place appropriate.

As you know, I recently reviewed these Paige Edgemont skinny jeans in Black & White Stripes. I love them so much, I decided to use them as the staple in my weekend going out look this week! I wanted to style them differently this time though and go for a chic, yet casual outfit that can be worn for a days shopping or lunch out with the girls.
I paired the jeans with a H&M White Shirt, so they remain the focal point and the tops easy on the eye. I added a Rebecca Minkoff Mini 5 Zip Bag and Tory Burch Flats, both in a tan colour, just to add some contrast and ease to the black and white tones, not to mention I really like those three colours together! I then accessorized the look with a Lovely Braided Floppy Hat in burgundy for some colour and some Ray-Ban Aviators, both of which tone it down, giving it that chic vibe! I would definitely style these jeans this way, I’m going to the next time I wear them!
