This week I chose a pair of the Genetic Shya Skinny jeans in Solaris for my Weekend Going Out Look. They are a classic blue skinny that is versatile for any occasion, so I opted for something that was casual and had a boho vibe.

I feel nothing goes better with blue than another shade of blue. Whether it be a denim shirt or a bed jacket like this one here by Zara, you cannot go wrong when pairing them together. As the jacket is printed, I didn’t want a shirt that was busy. This slouchy gray tank by Kain is just perfect to keep the boho vibe going. I chose this Zara braided belt because I just love the look of braided belts. They work with every casual look perfectly. I then finished it off with some Chloe ankle boots to help toughen up the free spirit vibe a bit, but it doesn’t feel heavy because of the color. So how many of you are looking forward to trying a look like this for the upcoming weekend?

DL1961 asked us to style their classic Amanda Skinny in Madison. With the wash being one that is timeless, the styling can pretty much go anywhere. I chose to do a look that is simple with pieces that, I feel, many women would already own.

I chose The Perfect Shirt by Current/Elliott with the Kinsey Boots and Caleigh Tank by Rag & Bone. I then accessorized the look with the Vanessa Mooney Enchanter Cuff and Saint Laurent Bo Sac de Jour Box Tote. I say wear the denim shirt unbuttoned to show off the laser cuts in the shirt and cuffed at the sleeves. The eyelets at the bottom help keep the outfit feeling feminine and less tomboy. Now all you need is a quick messy side braid to finish off the look.

I think denim skirts have gotten a bad rep, since most styles tend to be either mini or maxi lengths, which can be hard to wear or unflattering. I really liked the silhouette of this  Christopher Kane x J Brand denim pencil skirt. The pencil shape is very fitted and meant to show off your figure, so I thought it’d be a fun piece to style for a weekend going out look.

Because of the fit and color of the skirt, I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit sleek to keep the skirt the focal point. To contrast the slim fit, I chose this slouchy low cut Splendid tee as the gray complements the color of the skirt well. Because I wanted to keep the look suitable for going out, I chose dressier accessories. I love how shiny these pointy silver Zara Heels are. I wanted to keep the jewelry more on the minimal side, but still have an impact, so I layered these Tom Binns safety pin bracelets in silver and gold. For a little more color, I finished the look with a colorful threaded clutch from Zara.

I couldn’t do a post like this without styling their Le Luxe Noir jeans. Black can easily be worn numerous ways, but I decided to go the sportier route by pairing them with a bomber jacket by Etoile Isabel Marant and not so sporty ankle boots by Anine Bing. I then finished it off with a t shirt by Givenchy, belt by Jil Sander, and my new favorite bracelet by Luv AJ. There is something about an all black look with different shades of black that is just chic. It doesn’t look too put together, yet you still look smart without looking like you are trying or cared about what you put together.

Next is their classic blue, Le Skinny De Jeane in Columbia Road. These have become a staple in Miranda Kerr’s closet, so you already know that they can be styled many different ways and look chic regardless. For this look, I wanted to keep with a blue color scheme. Just like black, pairing different shades of blue has strength to it, yet is still more casual than the all black. Just to smarten it up a bit, I chose a shirt by Equipment, and bag by Saint Laurent. But to keep the look from looking too dressy, I paired them with simple black flats by Repetto and to make it a bit more feminine I added a headband by Maison Michel. To pull this look together I would say a simple wavy updo (i.e. Rooney Mara).

Like the other looks, I kept with the color scheme of the jeans themselves for this look and flats. Girls can’t wear heels every day. If you are not into white jeans, the Le Skinny Zipper Jeans is a great alternative. It is a bleached out blue that has the same crisp feel without being as stark. I have always enjoyed the look of ankle zip jeans with sneakers (it is what I wear most days) which is why I chose these sneakers by Golden Goose. I then wanted to keep with the tomboy feel by pairing it with a muscle t shirt by Splendid.

As I was picturing this as a look to run quick errands during the Summer, I thought about a small bag and this hologram Stella McCartney clutch is perfect as it works well with pale shades. Then to help break up all the pale shades I chose a pair of the black Nera sunglasses from my favorite line of sunglasses, Raen. Side Note – Their sunglasses are really amazing. They are sturdy yet block out the sun completely unlike a few others that had me still squinting, even some designer pairs.

-So which of these styles from Frame are you inspired to try?

I could not resist doing an almost all white look when we got asked to do this post. You just can’t go wrong pairing a great fitting t shirt with a great fitting pair of jeans. Whether it be the same color or not. I chose a shirt by Jil Sander, Luv AJ ID bracelet, a beanie by The Elder Statesman, and a pair of classic Timberland boots. I initially wanted to finish this look off with a gray beanie, but felt like it was washing out the look and giving a marshmallow effect. Adding the red brings life to the outfit and helps pick up the gold from the bracelet and brown in the shoes.

This look is for the more fashionable forward guy, I believe. In this outfit here, I paired the jeans with the same Jil Sander t shirt and Luv AJ bracelet as the look above. I added the sweater by Henrik Vibskov for a bit of graphic and pop to the look then finished it off with the Balenciaga Derby boots. I would suggest wearing this look with the jeans cuffed to add to the Ska vibe that it gives off.

This look would have to be the most me, minus the pink, if I had to be honest. A plaid shirt, graphic tee and some some simple shoes and belt to finish it off is just perfect to wear on a day off. It is casual without looking sloppy and is just plain comfortable. I chose a flannel by Pendleton to either layer over the Givenchy shirt or tie around the waist. I then finished the look off with an A.P.C. belt and Common Project sneakers. I would even suggest adding a chain necklace if you are looking to elevate the look even more.

-So how many of you guys are looking forward to donning white denim this season?

I have been a fan of the J Brand Leather Pants in Cement since I first saw them a few months back. They don’t feel dull like many other gray styles and are perfect for this season. I styled them with a floral shirt from Zara, a yellow shoulder bag from Trussardi and some Alexander Wang sandals.

After going the more casual route with my weekend looks the past few times, I wanted to do something that was very feminine and breezy. I found that yellow and beige tones work really well with the color of these pants. I am usually not a fan of looks that are too matchy or feminine, but the mood I was in while putting this outfit together was definitely cheery. The white sandals and the sunny shade of the bag helps lighten the look and detour it away from my usual moody/sportier vibe that I go for. Not sure if this means a change in my personal style, but this is definitely one of my favorite looks that I put together. What do you think of it?

This is the casual look that I can see someone running errands in. Cool sneakers, cool jeans, and a cool jacket that not only screams how I described them, but also screams comfort. I instantly thought to pair these with different shades of blues when I first saw them. Rag & Bone are ones that find new ways to reinterpret classic styles like this jacket as well as the t shirt. To keep with the overall casual theme, I finished the look off with a pair of high-top sneakers from the Robert Del Carlo x Superga collection and a belt by Rag & Bone.

This look is somewhat of a tribute to Ska. I wanted a look that was a bit rock without looking too tough, but still having an edge to it. I chose this shirt by Rag & Bone for the details. It’s clean and the details help keep it feminine, but to keep the pairing of the jeans with the shirt from being to feminine, I wanted to toughen it up. I chose a belt by Saint Laurent, bag by Givenchy, and boots by Balenciaga. Cuff the jeans and tie your hair in a ponytail and you are ready to stomp through the streets.

Like in the first look, I decided to choose blue to pair with these jeans. I find that it brings out the details of the jeans. I wanted to put something more feminine together that can go from work to a night out. For a little more detail than the usual knit sweater, I chose this studded one by Topshop. I kept everything else clean with a belt by G-Star, bag by Alexander Wang, and sandals from Tibi.

Ever since I saw this Rebecca Taylor Denim Vest, I knew I wanted to style an outfit around it. I think it is a really versatile piece that can be worn a lot of different ways. Overall, my look for this week was a bit on the casual side, but could easily work for a low key night out as well.

I chose to layer the vest over this form fitting green Reiss Dress. I think the vest adds a nice edge to the simplistic shape of the dress. I accessorized with these flat sandals from Calypso and added some color with this gold and neon necklace from Dorothy Perkins and some pattern with this Stella McCartney python bag.

For my weekend going out look I decided to mix both casual and smarter pieces. I have been a fan of these Rag & Bone Rally Cargo Jeans in Blue since they first came out many months ago. They give me a casual and dress down vibe which is why I chose to pair them with this Wildfox Love Me sweater which fits quite loosely. I kept the colour scheme neutral by adding these Marc Jacobs Nude & Black Leather Pumps.

For the accessories, I chose a Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac in Lilac to add some colour, but not too much as it’s spring and I wanted to have a pastel tone. I also went for a Pippa Small 18kt Gold Ring to add a little dazzle, a Dorothy Perkins Cross & Heart Split Ring for some edge and then finally a Saint Laurent Antiope Polished Gold Tone Cuff to liven up the wrist if you have the sleeves rolled up a little. I actually own the bag and the sweater and they are great pieces to pair with jeans!

The Lake

When I think of the lake I think of a breezy afternoon spent on a boat or on the shore, relaxing and enjoying the view. This denim dress is perfect for a fun and careless day on the lake and perfect for slipping on over a bathing suit if you decide to take a last minute dip. The uneasy ground makes for sturdy shoes and these flatforms will keep you on your feet and looking sweet. I accessorized lightly and added a hat for extra style and protection.

Palm Springs

The desert is often a difficult place to dress for because it’s so hot that you don’t want to wear any clothes. Luckily Spring time is the calm before the storm and you can still not die from heat exhaustion. This outfit gives off a “cool” vibe with a desert ready feel. Chill out at the Ace hotel in this outfit for a fun day at the pool with great music in the background. I’m loving the trend of cutouts in boots because it makes them acceptable for all places including the hot desert. Gold accessories matches the fabulous aura of a mod Palm Springs and a 2 piece set will keep you cool.

Cancun

If a tropical place is your destination for Spring Break then you will most likely be living in your bathing suit for the majority of your vacation. I suggest a denim button up (unbuttoned) to throw over your bikini for a little added style. Throw your hair in a bun with a scarf tied in a bow to compliment it, slap on some gladiators and sunnies and you’re ready for your Spring Break in Cancun. Just because you’re in your bathing suit doesn’t mean you can’t add extra style to your look. Accessories make for fun additions and really amp up a look.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is also located in the desert, but I decided to showcase a great night time look because Vegas is all about the night life. There’s something ultra classy about white jeans and I love pairing them with a blue jean accent. This Rag and Bone jacket will keep you warm if needed and if not, the Alice + Olivia top with the white jeans is a great combo alone. For added color, heels are a great place to showcase this and adding gold jewelry accents complete the look. You’re ready for a night out on the town, Las Vegas style.
