Adasa has been having crazy “final sales” lately like this one, 50% to 90% off on many items, including new styles of Rock & Republic, True Religion and more! We are not complaining about the sales! It’s just odd that its all final sale, even on new styles. Whatev! We are off to grab some Rock & Republic Kurt’s! They make the booty look fab if you don’t have much of one!

Pre-Black Friday! Get ‘em while they last at ELuxury! We adore these Rock & Republic Scorch Jeans, just $149!

OK - time for a new category called “What were they thinking?!”
We’ve said it before - Rock & Republic is one of our favorite denim lines. But sometimes they get a little out there.
Check out these new Rock & Republic Neil Death Metal Jeans. Death Metal? Pink? Huh?
If we were going to design a pair of jeans for men and call them “Death Metal” they’d be grey or black with some skulls or something cool that’s truly “metal”. They would NOT have a pink logo on the back pockets. Sorry but….pink is so not metal. We’re just saying.
Time to rename these something else. We know some guys are secure enough to rock a pair of jeans with pink on them, but the words Death Metal will not come to mind when we see you! ![]()

Wooooo hoo! Finally! Rock & Republic has just announced its new online store. We especially love the new fit guide that tells you which style R&R’s will look best on you! Someone needs to take away our credit cards, yikes, this could be VERY dangerous!

Check out the discussion on these new Rock & Republic’s for men in the HonestForum - the style names are Floyd Electric and Taylor Hysteria, exclusively from Neiman Marcus. We think the designs are pretty, but a bit too feminine for men. What do you think?

We love it when we find out about do-gooders like Michael Ball, founder of Rock & Republic.
“Founded earlier this year by R&R CEO and creative director Michael Ball, Rock the Cure is Rock & Republic’s new amazing philanthropic division. Ball found himself unimpressed with the charitable donations and efforts of other companies and corporations, and decided to do something a little drastic. Having created one specialty item for each one of the R&R collections (everything from jackets to denim to footwear), 100% of the profits for each special item will go directly to a charitable foundation. The ‘07/’08 cause will be none other than City of Hope, a medical center geared towards treatment and research for those with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. In addition to proceeds from sales, Rock & Republic will be holding a series of events to fundraise for the center, including film festivals, intimate dinners and concerts. ‘Rock the Cure’ reflects Michael Ball’s vision for corporate philanthropy, and by setting a precedent, he’s a pioneer in the movement to eradicate life-threatening diseases.”
We applause Michael Ball. He’s not like every other company out there slapping a pink ribbon on their product to increase its marketing power while only contributing a tiny percentage of profits to the actual cancer foundation. The profits from Rock the Cure go 100% to the City of Hope. Awesome. Mr. Ball received the prestigious Spirit of Hope award for his efforts from the City of Hope. You can learn more about City of Hope at www.cityofhope.org.

VS.
Since everyone liked our quiz so much recently on what type of designer denim you are, we thought we’d set up an Ebay Matchup - a fun new way to vote on what YOU like best. In today’s matchup, we have Seven for All Mankind versus Rock & Republic. Check it out and vote!

Have you seen Rock & Republic’s new line of shoes, bags, sunglasses, and ready-to-wear? It’s proof that companies that used to just sell jeans are diversifying. Will they get away with charging prices like higher-end luxury brands such as Vuitton & Gucci?
We think the shoes are a little over the top with logos (only the afore mentioned luxury brands can get away with logos everywhere!) but we do wonder why is it that the shoes, at $285, are cheaper than the sunglasses, at $350? That seems odd.
Sidenote: We refuse to pay that much for sunglasses since we just found an awesome pair of Dior’s at Off 5th for $60! Sunglasses break way too easy to pay so much for them unless they are on sale!
Check out all the new R&R stuff at ELuxury.
