I got the chance to preview Koral’s Holiday collection last week and it made me really excited for cooler weather! The brand had a lot of darker colors in skinny styles, but did some particularly interesting things when it came to prints and washes.
For this collection, prints went bold and graphic, including large floral motifs and Renaissance inspired scenes. Overall, in terms of washes, the collection featured darker purples, grays and blues, as well as a few metallic grays and sponge painted pairs. Another great piece was a fur collar trimmed gray denim jacket which will be great for when the weather gets cooler.
When I was in London last month, I also got to see the J Brand Autumn/Winter 2013 collection for the guys as well as the women (you can see the women’s here). The guys only had a small rail of clothes, but from what I could see it was much brighter than the women’s collection wash in terms of colour!
One of my favourite brands to see when I get to attend the press days in London is definitely J Brand. I’m always intrigued to see what prints and styles they will be coming out with next and what will be a leading jean/pant for them that season. The Autumn/Winter 2013 collection was definitely very reminiscent of the season and there are some pieces here that I think you will love!
When I was doing the press day rounds I also got to quickly preview the new Nudie Autumn/Winter 2013 collection in London. I was quite suprised to see that they actually had quite a bit of bold colour in the styles as they usually have a more classic look, especially for Autumn/Winter, but there were a pair of bright red corduroys, a mustard yellow twill kind of pant and a sage green pant as well. The rest of the collection featured a variety of blues from really dark up to medium with a pair of black jeans thrown in there for good measure.
