J Brand brought their extraction/bleached styles back for Spring. Unlike their previous styles, which were available for men, these are for women. The details are as if they were a previous blue pair that have been bleached and dyed in pastel tones. They have indigo tones at the seams and around the stitching in the waist area. J Brand also took the worn vintage feel a bit further by having details such as outseam stitching and replacing the grommets and cross stitching.
The styles weren’t just limited to these bleached styles. They have some vintage blue styles that have distressing in both shorts and a boyfriend style. You can see all these jeans below and click here to purchase them at the J Brand website.
Printed jeans have been a staple in most denim brands collections for the past few seasons. I always keep wondering what they can come out with next that hasn’t been done before, so I went scouring online like I usually do at the new styles to see what’s just popped up for the coming season.
I’ve found 12 pairs of printed skinny jeans that I really like and think are inventive. I absolutely adore the Frankie B galaxy jeans above, I actually own them and will be reviewing them next week, the print is insane! I’m also really loving the black and white stripes as they remind me a lot of Beetlejuice, the bold and bright florals, the sweet little bicycle prints and striking London scenery. Which ones do you like the most?
As promised, here is the new information on the Level 99 Sarah jeans. The denim brand designed and named this style after fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker, as she wore the brand’s distressed boyfriend style several times this winter.
Based off their best selling ‘Relaxed Lily’ cut, Level 99’s Sarah jean has engineered front panels that twist to the center creating the illusion of a long slim leg, while the slightly relaxed cut sits just away from the body for a comfortable, vintage look. The Sarah jean will launch this spring, but unfortunately isn’t available just yet.
I actually really love the twisted seam as boyfriend jeans can definitely make your legs appear shorter, but with the seam the way it is here, it looks like it elongates the legs rather than make them appear shorter. I think the wash and the distressing is really pretty as well, and hopefully I can try these out in the spring when they become available! I’m sure we will get plenty more sightings of Sarah in these jeans again soon as well! She’s already worn them 3 times!
Genetic Denim has released a new and exclusive to Barney’s jean called the Hyde Racer. The jean is now available and is also featured on the Barney’s homepage, which highlights beyond the blue typical denim.
The new Hyde Racer is a skinny white jean with blue and red stripe detailing down the front and sides of the legs to create the illusion of racing stripes. I think they are really cool and the print is definitely effective at making a statement! Buy these online at Barney’s.
