Here is a look at the new styles by Obscene Jeans. Designer Rachel Stark-Cappelli couples high-fashion denim and shiny metallic mesh to accentuate the female figure as no other jeans dare. I think they have some great styles. My favorites would have to be the third in each row. Those are just timeless ones that will go with everything. You can click the images below to get a closer look at them.
I mostly feature new styles for the women, being that their jeans are a lot more daring and detailed than the men’s. These though, I think need a feature of their own.
They are the J Brand Kane in Sid. The wash, the cut, the distressing, I think is timeless. You can never go wrong with a distressed pair of jeans, in my opinion. I do think that there is a time for them, but close to never. They just add a different vibe to an outfit that a clean dark pair will never and vice versa. The wash is what caught my eye with these. They have little faded spots here and there all around the jeans. These give off the look that you have worn them to many beach trips. They are just great! The new AG The Leatherette jeans are now available. As you can see I wasn’t lying when I said they look like leather. They look so smooth and supple in these shots and the ones on their website. You can click here for the black and here for the red.
Lorna’s note – If you are a UK reader and would love to have them, they just became available at Trilogy and you can click here to purchase both colours.
Just because there is a new season it doesn’t mean trends won’t carry on to the next. J Brand is one that modifies each trend for each season and make them lust-worthy each time. For fall they turned their brightly colored 811s into moodier, darker colors.
When I saw the new 811 Mid-Rise jeans in Black Cherry, I instantly fell for them. I love the black cherry/wine color of them. If you still haven’t gotten into the colored trend I think these would be a good choice. They have a deep maroon color that I think is quite versatile. They would look great with a gray tee, green military jacket, and a shoe like the Givenchy cut-out booties (the ones Nicky Hilton and Nicole Richie sport numerous times). If you are a guy that would like to try this, I think you can pull off the same look by switching out the heels with some black Vans or Chucks.
