The boyfriend cut is nothing new, but it doesn’t mean it can’t get an update. Courtesy of J Brand, the style that has become a staple in every women’s closet has been re-birthed from the cropped and cuffed styles that we have been seeing the past few years.
With the new Johnny cut by the leading brand, they have come out with a style that is full length and ready for you to style. It’s levels chicer than the predecessor. With an early 2000′s feel, I can see the style being paired with pointy-toe pumps and flats in the way of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen during the era of the ‘It’ girls. How many of you are loving this new style? You can click here to purchase this cut from the J Brand website.
This has been a style that I have been waiting to happen for a while, probably since Paige first released the Edgemonts a couple of years back. Then the moment I saw them, I could not have been happier as I feel like it was long overdue. But Paige finally did it and released their Edgemont cut in LEATHER.
The Edgemont has always been a favorite of mine for being one of those styles that felt strong and can handle any wash or fabrication you throw at it. So to finally see these, I can’t wait to see what else designer Paige Adams-Geller has up her sleeves. Hopefully we will see her take on suede next. You can click here to purchase these pants from SHOPBOP and the Paige website.
The X-Over jeans by R13 has been a style that I always found unique and fresh. Not many, if any, brands have approached denim in such a forward way as R13 has. But being such a progressive style, they have kept the washes for the cut clean and classic. That story ends there.
With their wash, New Mended, the style has finally been given the same treatment as their other cuts. It has been given distressed areas along with being patched, which gives more of an ease from the smarter feeling that they felt before. What do you think of this new wash for the X-Overs? You can click here to purchase them now from SHOPBOP.
