Jack Spade has released a line of selvedge denim for the Spring 2013 season. The styles and details were kept minimal and unique to keep with the Jack Spade aesthetic. They come in a slim straight style in five different washes: Raw, a 1 Year, 2 Year, and a classic white. You can read more information on the production, details, and see the jeans themselves below. “Jack Spade selvage denim is woven in the USA on original 31-inch shuttle looms at Cone Denim’s White Oak Plant, which has been continuously producing denim since 1905. The denim is cut and sewn in the USA. The jeans are straight legged with traditional construction and details. The five-piece line is available in dry selvage cotton denim and single wash selvage cotton denim both in a 3×1 right-hand twill. Each pair features custom copper shank and nickel head buttons, custom airplane rivets and single-needle chain stitched seams in a traditional 5-pocket style.”
The new Spring pieces by J Brand are starting to hit stores this month. This season they did not stray away from rich jewel tones like Magenta as well as unique printed pairs like the one above. J Brand didn’t leave out the classic washes like their Alley Cat and Blanc though. Also this season is the comeback of their Big Time wash in their slim boyfriend fit, Midori.
They didn’t leave the softer tones out of the picture. You can see soft oranges for their denim and pale pinks and a soft grey for their leathers. You can see all these styles below and click here to purchase these styles from their site.
Space/galaxy/cosmo print has always been something that I have had a bit of an obsession over. Ever since I was younger I have always been fascinated by the universe and everything in it, especially supernovas, so when I saw these Cosmo print jeans from Hudson, I was really excited!
There are 5 different colour combinations to choose from (which you can see in the gallery), but my favourite is the black version above as it looks more realistic. They retail for $198 and you can purchase them on the Hudson website here. What do you think of these prints? Do you like them?
The Jodhpur Skinny by Rag & Bone has become a staple style for them. They have been reinvented in numerous ways before, but Rag & Bone thought of yet another new idea for these jeans.
For the new season, the colors chosen have a graphic contrast to help give the skinny legs that every girl wants. Now for the new detail that makes these different to the others, keeping with the mini trend this season, the leather panels have been perforated. The addition of the perforation, I find, makes them scream, “Spring is here!” (even though it is not) because it gives this lightness to them. What are your thoughts on the new detail?
