Rag & Bone has always been a brand that kept it original with their prints. There is their Goetz print that started the many geometric styles that came after and then their take on camouflage, which was pixelated to give a fresher more technological take on the militant style. Then let’s not forget their Miramars which have taken over the market with the look of denim that is so well done, no one will believe they are sweatpants.
With their new Robot Leggings, it doesn’t get more original and close to heart than before. With the help of co-founder Marcus Wainwright’s children, the new print was conceived. Coming from the children’s scribbles in his sketchbook, instead of bypassing them, Marcus decided to put them to use with this new graphic print. What do you think of this unique new print? We have been sharing countless denim overalls from designer brands with you over the months, but I thought it might be nice to share with you some really pretty short denim overalls with a much more affordable price tag.
I recently came across these Topshop MOTO Denim Short Dungarees and they are both under £40, which is much kinder on the purse! They each have a slouchy and more baggier fit, which will be perfect for little tees and crop tops underneath. I think my favourite one is the dark blue one and I actually have it ordered, so it will be with me soon! Which colour do you like the most? You can buy Topshop denim overalls, both long and short, online at their website by clicking here.
Overalls are one of those styles that I feel very strongly about when it comes to “the more rustic, the better” concept, especially when it comes to denim styles. True Religion is on the same boat with this theory when it came to their Erin Overalls in Axud Lost Paradise.
The style is patched, sanded and kept slouchy to keep them feeling easy. But with all these details, the brand has kept other details subtle. Their signature stitching was kept minimal and classic to not overwhelm the piece.
This new subtle approach is something that I have noticed quite a bit with their newer styles. It takes the pieces to another vibe that their jeans didn’t embody before and making them feel more versatile without taking away the soul of the brand. What do you think of this new approach? You can click here to purchase these overalls from the True Religion website for $398.
Fabric Brand & Co. is a brand that I have recently come across. Made of Selvedge denim in Japan, these styles have that naturally worn in look without all the work that comes with it. I would not expect anything less coming from one of the meccas of denim.
When it comes to wears, a natural feel is something that we all look for. With the jeans by Fabric Brand & Co, the details didn’t just stop with the fading, whiskering and honeycombs. I have never seen washes that felt as organic as these before. The addition of the smaller distressing at each fade takes the jeans to another level that has not been done before by others. Truly amazing and worth being checked out. You can click here to purchase these styles from EAST DANE now.
