Festival season is upon us and denim and fringe go hand in hand when it comes to the easy, laid back vibe. DL1961 have released their new Ivy fringe denim shorts in two washes (Shae black and Pillar blue), with a front rise of 9.5”, an inseam of 3” and a leg opening of 23″, making for a gorgeous silhouette.
We have already spotted two lovely ladies in these denim shorts, Alessandra Ambrosio and Jamie Chung, both rocking the black pair, so I really can’t wait to see who wears them next! If the fringe trend just isn’t for you though, why not check out some of the other denim shorts they have to offer in the gallery below!
Th Ive denim short has an angled hem, to elongate the leg and give the illusion of toned thighs. They recommend sizing up to get that perfect fit, but it’s up to you! I can definitely see these being popular at Coachella! I think they would suit Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts really well. What do you think? You can shop them online at DL1961.

A new month means some new styles that have caught the attention of us writers. There are so many to choose from, but we selected our ‘Top 5′ for this month and we think you readers will love them just as much as we do. As new styles are always hitting the stores, see the jeans that we are swooning over this month below.
Always one to go against the grain, R13 has taken denim to a territory that most have not gone with their new Anorak jacket. We have seen many incarnations of the denim jacket over the years, but not one that has strong detailing that works harmoniously as the ones of this one. The amount of fringe of the fray is perfect with both washes, whether you choose the classic blue or the more subtle white.
Not only can I see the ladies being fans of this piece, but also many men. I can definitely see many of the men at Pitti Uomo styling this piece with their wide brimmed hats and scarves. I can’t wait to see who we catch wearing it. How many of you are looking forward to trying this piece? You can click here to purchase this jacket from Barney’s for $895.
With the ’70s movement being big this season, we will begin to see wide legs and flares that could grace the legs of the icons of that era. J Brand, who is known for their clean classic aesthetic, has taken on the styles with their new Demi Patch Pocket Flare and Tailored High Rise Flare.
Both depict two different vibes from that era. While the Demi carries the boho vibe of the decade, the Tailored (which also comes in white) is a more smarter take on the time. Though carrying different feels, both can be styled in endless ways by pairing them with a blazer and extravagant jacket to adding a bit of edge to them with a leather jacket. Which style are you favoring? Click here to purchase both styles from the J Brand website.
