Model Amber Le Bon posed for photos for Diesel to promote the new Skinzee 0813C jean from the brands Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The photos were shot by Felix Cooper and look great in my opinion! I have included a little statement below about the new Skinzee cut (which I am trying next week) so you can find out more about it. It’s available online at many retailers and also in store as well!
‘Diesel’s SS13 women’s wear collection adds a new twist to the classic armor of the 21st century woman, adding sensuality and femininity without undermining her innate confidence.“Fit your attitude” is the core theme of the denim collection, as SS13 captures the many attitudes of Diesel woman through iconic styles featuring the brand’s distinctive treatments for the summer time. Great news is the introduction of a new style: the Skinzee. Taking the best from both the comfort world of jeggings and the stylish look of real 5 pocket denim, Skinzee’s stretchy fabric adapts perfectly to the body and springs back to its original shape after use.’
Denim jumpers are one of the minor trends that has hit the stores recently. The likes of Heidi Klum, Rihanna, and Khloe Kardashian have all donned one over the past couple of years. I came across this denim jumper by Rag & Bone that I find to be perfect for when the weather warms up. Being that it is shorts, it doesn’t have the heaviness that a full length one might give off.
I can see this being worn by many girls and styled numerous ways. Roll the sleeves up and pair them with a classic pair of Chucks for a day of skating through the town or with some pale colored flats for something more sweet. The ways of wearing it is endless. How many of you readers are interested in trying out this style? You can click here to pre-order this jumper from LaGarconne for $275.
J Brand brought their extraction/bleached styles back for Spring. Unlike their previous styles, which were available for men, these are for women. The details are as if they were a previous blue pair that have been bleached and dyed in pastel tones. They have indigo tones at the seams and around the stitching in the waist area. J Brand also took the worn vintage feel a bit further by having details such as outseam stitching and replacing the grommets and cross stitching.
The styles weren’t just limited to these bleached styles. They have some vintage blue styles that have distressing in both shorts and a boyfriend style. You can see all these jeans below and click here to purchase them at the J Brand website.
Printed jeans have been a staple in most denim brands collections for the past few seasons. I always keep wondering what they can come out with next that hasn’t been done before, so I went scouring online like I usually do at the new styles to see what’s just popped up for the coming season.
I’ve found 12 pairs of printed skinny jeans that I really like and think are inventive. I absolutely adore the Frankie B galaxy jeans above, I actually own them and will be reviewing them next week, the print is insane! I’m also really loving the black and white stripes as they remind me a lot of Beetlejuice, the bold and bright florals, the sweet little bicycle prints and striking London scenery. Which ones do you like the most?
