J Brand has been a brand that has kept flares/wide-leg jeans as core pieces over the many seasons while the skinny took over. Whether it be their classic Lovestory or their Martini, they are styles that have standing power with their amazing cuts. As wider legs have a moment again, J Brand has released a new chic style just in time for the party season.
The new Eva has a high waisted wide leg cut in the brand’s new raw stretch denim. The cut is not only chic with a retro vibe, but comes in a deep raw blue that takes it to another level and makes the style feel polished. From the office to a night out, they will keep you looking smart with it’s slight retro vibe whether you choose to pair them with a simple white t shirt or a heavy knit turtle neck sweater. The J Brand Mercy has been reinvented this season and with a name that perfectly suits it, Remix. The new style has all the details of the popular Mercy wash, like a frayed hem and multiple slit, but has been given grittier details with splattered bleach.

NEUW has something really cool for their Autumn/Winter 2014 collection and it’s their new ‘Black Rope’ Holiday collection! Featuring in both men’s & womenswear, this collection specialises in a completely different technique to the original NEUW collection.
The yarn is dyed in Indigo and then coated in either black dye or black wax on the surface. These are then washed down so the indigo starts to wear through, giving the denim a premium look and an increase in the depth of colour. Price’s range from £125 – £165 and the collection is available at both Selfridges and Harvey Nichols at the beginning of December. Check out the styles below!
MOTHER have such a cool wash, called Clear As Day, and it’s available in their famous cuts: The Looker, The Looker Ankle Fray and The Dropout.
The brand state that the indigo is removed through a unique hand bleaching process, creating the subtle light blue finish. I think it looks really cool. It reminds me of a pair of 80′s jeans, but the denim looks like it’s literally been stripped of its colour! It’s pretty interesting! You can shop their jeans online at Shopbop by clicking here.
