Neon jeans are going to be HUGE for Spring (as we mentioned in this post). Leave it to Textile Elizabeth and James to come out with the trend without a dull neon color in sight. These are bright. I mean bright. Warning: You may need some sunglasses to look at these washes.
There are three washes and five styles. The Sunshine Lime come in the Crosby, Ruby Shorts, and their Sid Jacket. The Mick comes in the shocking pink and their core fit, the Jimi, comes in Aqua Glass. I think the Sunshine Lime is a great one and is my favorite. Probably the most versatile out of the three. Which are your favorites? You can click here to purchase all these styles at Shopbop.
Pantone recently announced that tangerine tango is the new colour of 2012. I’m actually not suprised because from the collections I have seen, orange has been present in almost everything. I’m quite excited for more clothes to come out in this shade, it’s a hard colour to pull off and it’s definitely a bold one so it will be great to see how people wear and style it!
Already ahead with the trend though is Dylan George! They have their Keira skinny jean in Coated Mango which is a mid-rise skinny in a saturated, orange color with depth and dimension. I think they look really fun and I love the fact that they are also coated! That really makes them stand out. So will you be trying out the tangerine tango shade for Spring 2012?
Rag & Bone have come out with a new take on their Bell jeans. They incorporated a brown leather waistband on a pair of their Bells. This style currently comes in their Vintage wash. I actually quite like the look of these jeans. When I saw them, I kept going back and looking at them. I think it may be due to my love of brown leather belts. The brown of the leather and the wash of the jeans go very well together. There is a sense of western-wear, but also they have this bohemian vibe as well. I can see this style being favored by someone like Vanessa Hudgens. You can click here to purchase these jeans at Shopbop for $297.
Joe’s Jeans have come out with these new lace-up shorts for Spring. They will come in an array of colors. The lace-up trend is growing more and many brands have jumped on the bandwagon with the detail. The length of these is right on trend for Spring. I never thought this will be back, but the trend was all over the shows of Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and more. It also seems to have also hit the hearts of denim brands as well.
I like these shorts (namely due to the fact that I live in my own land of wheat fields and unicorns). I think they would look great with a loose tee and sandals or dressed up with some ankle boots for a day out. My favorite would have to be the yellow. I would like to see someone like Ashley Tisdale wear these. What do you readers think of these trends together? You can click here to pre-order the red and yellow from the Planet Blue website.
