Goldsign has launched a new line called Goldskin. The pieces of the clothing will be made in amazing suede. There will be a jacket, Denise (above), a baggy cuffed short, Faye, a mid-calf length skirt, Jane, and a cropped high-waisted skinny, Jenny.
I knew that suede was going to be the next big thing after leather. I am so happy to see that more brands are getting into the market. I can’t wait to see the rest of this collection.
Joe’s Jeans has come out with a new style that will beat the comfort of probably every denim leggings. They are their new Sweat pant Jeans. They are made of a 6 3/4 oz Terry fabric and come in three different fits. They come in their Skinny, High Water, and their Skinny Bootcut. Each style has 360 degrees of comfort and can be treated just like actual denim, even though they don’t feel like them.
Besides being so light-weight, they also mock the look of denim. I think it is amazing how they are able to mock the look of denim out of Terry. There is also no need to be careful about these jeans either. You can click here to purchase this new style at Joe’s Jeans.
I think I just fainted a bit. I have been waiting for Mary-Kate and Ashley to come out with their Smashton pants in denim from The Row. When I saw these, chimes went off in my head, I was just so happy to see them. They are the closest thing to their Maxfields jeans as it gets.
They feature a crotch-zipper, trouser pockets, and the ankle-zips just like those amazing jeans. I do wish that there were some welt back pockets. I think those would make them perfect. The only difference from their personal pair is that these come in a lighter wash. Maybe since their Maxfields have pretty much ran their course these will start to get some sightings on the sisters. I would love to see someone in the leather pair as well. You can click here to purchase these jeans at FARFETCH for $465.
A few months ago, American Apparel announced denim line launch, debuting the collection with looks for women. The line has now added men’s styles to the collection. The debut style is called the Regular 100, which features a medium rise and slightly tapered leg, which is meant to hit slightly above the shoe.
Georges Atlan, director of denim stated, “We’ve come up with a truly authentic pair of jeans – something the market has lacked for a long time. The fit and styling is the result of extensive testing and feedback, which when combined with American Apparel’s obsession for quality and my 30 years of experience in denim, makes for the perfect men’s jeans.”
Not only do the jeans feature a great cut but also American Apparel’s unique values, “More than 40 fair-wage workers to produce each one of these pairs of jeans and that is a fact we’re very proud of. American Apparel doesn’t take expanding into new products lightly, and for our men’s and women’s denim we’ve not only come up with a great, fashionable product but we’ve utilized our full factory capabilities to do it right,”
The Regular 100 is available in sizes 27-36, for $85 online at Americanapparel.com and in stores.
