Hudson wanted to share with you a preview of their new Heritage collection. It originated from a love of vintage denim and a desire to create a special men’s collection of incredibly detailed, handcrafted pieces. Each garment starts out as a blank canvas, made of high quality fabric and hardware, with special edition embroidered trim. It then goes through an intense process in which the buttons and rivets achieve a well-worn patina, and the wash and finish are applied with painstaking detail, mimicking the effect of many years of wear. Every piece is truly one of a kind, and part of a numbered limited production.
Hudson Heritage is a seasonless statement, celebrating the unique life of denim throughout American history. No matter your style, Hudson Heritage can compliment your entire wardrobe. Because denim is so classic, it can be worn with more trendy items without looking out-dated. The collection, yet to be released, will only be available in a limited quantity. You can see a preview of the new jeans that will be available in the images above and below. We will also keep you updated on when they all become available. What do you think of the new Hudson Heritage collection?
J Brand has released some really great light washes in both color and regular denim for men this season. They have the Artisan washes that come in both the Darren (Artisan Quarry) and Kane (Artisan Green tea, Dusty Rose, Tidal, and Haze). The Artisan washes are a continuation of their colored washes that have their colors extracted out to give a worn look. The Artisan Green Tea and Artisan Quarry, would have to be my favorites.
If you are not into much color, there is the Kane in Studio. It is a light washed denim that, I find, perfect for Summer for every guy. It is versatile and seasonless. You can click here to purchase these jeans from J Brand’s website now.
Rag & Bone has released their first limited edition hand-processed pair of jeans, the RB15 in Aoyama. Each pair takes two days to create from a custom 14 oz. selvedge denim from one of the world’s most premium denim mills, Nihon Menpu, in Japan.
The denim is then sent over to Rag & Bone’s Los Angeles factory to get sewn together. The brand’s signature details are put on like the hidden rivets at the back pockets and triple needle top stitching at the yoke and inseam. After being put together, each pair is sent over to Henderson, Kentucky, where Dick Gaines, one of the world’s finest denim developers with 26 years artisan laundry denim experience, hand processes each pair individually in his studio. Gaines reduces the color of the denim to a desired vegetable dye look by treating it with a unique resin and tint formula. After the treatment, he then hand sands each pair to give them a look of natural wear (see below to see the front, back, and side of the jeans).
Each pair is then given a hand-written number system, signifying which of the exclusive 76 jeans the owner has purchased. To add more to it’s exclusivity, the jeans also come in a hickory stripe envelope bag. Hurry and get your pair now because like stated above, there are only 76 pairs available. Click here to get yours now from Rag & Bone’s website for $395.
Ahh! The heavens are singing right now in my head. These are the new leather styles for fall by Rag & Bone. First are my favorite, the ones above. They are so cool! Leather and zippers are just the best combination. Plus it comes in black! Couldn’t be any better. Next are the Suede Devi in Wine. The color and details are just amazing. I love the border around the ankle-zips. The little details can make a huge difference to make each pair stand out amongst the rest.
Remember the skinny pieced pair that were released a few months back, well Rag & Bone did it in reverse. Instead of leather panels in the front, it is denim, and instead of denim in the back, it is leather. This one is called the Jekyll and will be sure to stand out just like its fraternal twin. Last are their classic skinny leathers. This time it comes in a stone colored wash called Anthrocite. These give off an almost glitter effect when they shine, which I think many will love as everyone is always looking for something new.
This is just a peek at what is to come with their leather styles. There are more. Including a few exclusives for Intermix. I’ll keep you posted when these and the exclusives are all available.
