Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are to launch denim under their Elizabeth and James line. The line will be named Textile and is inspired by the 70s. The line consists of three styles at the moment: bell-bottom, a slouchy fit in a light used wash and another slouchy fit in a sun exposed wash. I’m surprised not to see any super skinny or distressed styles, those are usually associated with the twins. A full collection is in the works to come out in the fall and the current pieces will be available in March.

Nudie has come out with a new wash for their Grim Tim fit called the Bright Eyes. It is a skinny fit with a light wash. A departure of the dark denim during the cold weather, this wash will be great for when the weather warms up. Also, for all you eco-friendly people out there, Nudie has come out with some organic styles for both men and women. Check out the styles below.
This Fairground Printed Denim Insert Bandeau Dress really caught my eye the other day. Denim seems to be making its apperance everywhere right now, even if it’s just in tiny amounts like this dress. I think having the little denim insert at the bust area of the dress is a really cute touch. It has a pattern printed on it as well to give it that extra girly feel. The dress is made from 100% cotton and retails at £50 from Asos. I do have my eye on this dress for the upcoming spring/summer months. What do you think of it? Do you like it? Gearing up for Spring, Trousers London has launched two new styles using organic materials. Not only are the jeans made from organic materials but the brand is also utilizing the slow fashion movement, meaning each item is individually treated and produced. The jeans will be made in smaller batches and numbered, emphasizing quality.
The styles include a low crotch style, each lined with silk. The pricing starts at around $250 and is available for purchase in the Uk, Japan or at the Trouser London website. Check out the new dropped crotch styles below:
