7 For All Mankind used to make a lot of trouser jeans before the skinny jeans trend took a hold of the denim market. For this season, Holiday 2010, they are re releasing lots of trouser jeans in many washes and different cuts! They have brought some of their older best selling styles back like the Dojo.
This new line of trousers has been named by 7 For All Mankind ‘The Trouser Story’. It makes a fresh change to see some trouser style jeans on the market right now! 7 For All Mankind say their trousers create a polished, tailored, lean line – all while keeping the comfortable flattering fit that is synonymous to the brand.
If you click this blog post you can see all of the new artwork sketches of the trousers. There are 7 images in total and I think the drawings are gorgeous! They should make all of their images in art, I love it! Which style is your favourite? I think the Dojo is the cutest!
Current/Elliott has come out with a new style for their “Crop Skinny” fit, it is the Outpost Destroy. This new style is great for the summer. The rips are great at the knees, they are big enough to look good without more tearing. But they are small enough that if they tear some more it would look authentic and natural. The medium wash is great too. I think the designers at Current/Elliott really know how to do their medium washes.
I hope we get to spot some celebrities in these jeans. I think Vanessa Hudgens and Katie Holmes would look hot in these. They are both huge fans of Current/Elliott and I think they both have great sense of style when it comes to choosing their denim. You can click here to purchase these jeans at ShopBop for $238.
J Brand introduces a new classic high-rise skinny leg that is sexy and comfortable. The new Maria in Clocker wash has power stretch denim that is an extraordinarily smooth fabric that hugs and shapes your body.
Ohhh! These sound wonderful, I am a fan of the high rise jeans and I also love skinnys too! I hope they offer this cut in more washes! You can buy these jeans here.
One of the most popular denim retailers, True Religion, is expanding. The brand will join other premium denim brands, such as 7 for All Mankind, by recently announcing that they will be adding footwear to their collection.
The footwear collection is slated to launch for Spring 2011 with 30 styles. The first collection will focus on timeless style and the hippie bohemian chic flair. Featuring embellished flats, braided wedges and stilettos, made from neutral leathers, brown vachettas, nude baby calf and tan nubuck. Also, metallic leathers, patent leathers and bright exotic skins will be used to accessorize the neutrals and make them stand out.
True Religion has coupled with Titan industries, a footwear company, to materialize this vision. Titan CEO, Joe Ouaknine explained “True Religion Brand Jeans is a designer brand with a specific vision, differentiated design aesthetic, and a very loyal customer. In re-launching the women’s collection, we see a multi-faceted opportunity to create fashionable ready-to-wear footwear for the True Religion Brand Jeans customer as well as a broader audience of consumers. We look forward to helping True Religion Brand Jeans expand into a global lifestyle brand and footwear powerhouse.”
The collection will be sold in major department stores as well as specialty retailers. Prices will range from $125-$250.
