Check out these new styles by Textile Elizabeth and James. They kept the true sole of the brand with these styles with the new details and washes.
There is their staple jean, the Jimi Flare. These come in three new washes; a clean blue, a distressed medium blue, and one with whipstitching on the outseams. The whipstitched pair would have to be my favorite out of the three. I think it is a great new take on their classic flares. I hope to see those out, Nicole Richie would look great in them.
They also brought back their Morrison jeans for Pre-Spring as well. Instead of the classic blue denim, Textile chose a technicolor wash. One style that I am so happy to see that they brought back are the Debbie jeans and they brought it back with a tear. Nothing beats a distressed jean in my mind. The Debbie jeans would have to be my favorite of the Textile jeans. One of the best skinny jeans that I have tried. You can check out all of the styles below.
Nudie has teamed up with Atrium NYC again. This time they collaborated on the Grim Tim jeans. These feature an apple green embroidery on the back pocket to pay tribute to Nudie’s environmental philosophy. These jeans will be sold exclusively at the Atrium store on Broadway in New York.
Everyone is dabbing into animal print at the moment. So Current/Elliott once again went their own route and came out with another print. They have a couple of striped jeans. One is the Moon Beam wash, it is a stripe pair that has two shades of blue along with thin white stripe. Then they have the Sand Dollar wash (above). These have tan and white stripes. Out of these two, I think my favorite would be the Sand Dollar.
They also came out with a polka dot jean. These are exclusives to Net-A-Porter. They come in a faded black wash with white dots all over. What do you guys think of these new prints? You can click here for the Sand Dollar striped jeans, here for the Moon Beam striped jeans, and here for the polka dot pair.
J Brand have collaborated with L’Agence to create a brand new jean made of cashmere! It will be available soon at select Barneys New York stores and CO-OP locations as well as Ron Herman in Los Angeles and will cost $300. I have included the press release below. What do you think of these jeans? I think they look really nice and so soft!
J Brand and international fashion brand L’Agence have joined forces to launch a limited edition cashmere jean. J Brand’s emphasis on fit and the L’Agence mantra attending to women-on-the-go’s needs, givea these cashmere jeans a modern look and special feel: function fused with style just in time for the holidays.
“The collaboration with Margaret is a perfect fit, and creating this luxurious cashmere jean speaks to the integrity of our designer collaborations.” says J Brand Founder and CEO, Jeff Rudes. “Denim’s become a staple in every woman’s wardrobe, and I wanted to create a pair of jeans that ring in loud and clear with denim aficionados. J Brand was the right partner.” L’Agence Creative Director, Margaret Maldonado said.
Cotton, cashmere with a hint of stretch makes for durability, comfort and recovery. Retaining its utilitarian look, luxurious warmth and a sumptuous chic become apparent only when pulled on. The charcoal-colored wash in J Brand’s perennially popular skinny silhouette makes the cashmere jean a perfectly cozy fit with the L’Agence elegantly wearable vibe.
