Colored denim is popping out everywhere and Current/Elliott have added some new colors in their Ankle Skinny fit to go along with their Cayenne jeans.
They have the Dahlia, which is a purple wash that is just as lovely as its name. Then there is the Royal Blue, which is a nice strong bold blue. Then they have the Ultramarine Green. I think the green would have to be my favorite out of the three, being that green is my favorite color. Which are yours? The warmer weather is here, the cut-offs are in array again and the brand-of-the moment, Black Orchid, has some styles for you to choose from. They have the classic denim styles with washes ranging from medium to light and also gray and white. Then they have the twill shorts that come in many neutral tones ranging from green to browns. I can see these being a favorite, just like their jeans, when it gets hotter. You can check out their selection below.
J Brand has come out with a couple of new styles. They have a new motorcycle jean (above) that is similar to the Agnes, but features no hip zippers, just regular jean pockets. They come in a gray wash and are exclusive to Intermix. You can click here to purchase these jeans for $228.
They also came out with a new cargo pant, which you can see below. Instead of the usual patch cargo pockets, these are flat and feature zippers at the pockets. These are their women’s take on their men’s Aviator Cargos that have been spotted on Gerard Butler. You can click here to also purchase these at Intermix for $238.
Here is a new style by Current/Elliott. It is their new Cropped Leather Zip Flare. Zipped up they are a cropped leather skinny jean and unzipped they become a cropped flare.
There is something about this style that really interests me. Truthfully, at first I was a bit iffy when I heard about them, but I quite like them. Maybe it was the thought that they zipped out into a full length flare at first, but they don’t. They stay cropped. I can see someone like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cheryl Cole, or Rihanna rocking this new edgier style. What do you readers think of them?
