Quality Never Goes Out of Style and the Levi’s brand delivers a collection for FW10 that does not disappoint.
This season the original denim brand, delivers a collection inspired by the archetypes that celebrate the spirit of the American lifestyle, full of attitude, hope and freedom… A taste of youth that is heady, intense and crammed full of spontaneity.
The Palette for FW10 is confident and modern, playing with shades of blue from the deepest almost black depths of the ocean to the lighter hues of a fast fading sky, worn in, well loved yet still fresh, this palette compliments one of the key trends for the season – Top to toe denim worn with attitude. Key pieces include the iconic and eternally relevant Levi’s 501 jeans, the classic denim (trucker) jackets as well as denim and chambray shirts.
The final key mood for the season keeps working the denim top to toe feeling hard but delivers it with a rock n roll edge that is undeniably Levi’s in spirit! Trucker & biker jackets, plaid shirts, rock n’ roll inspired graphic T’s deliver rock star style for men and women. The rebellious mood is reflected in the darker palette focusing on blacks, with denim laundry offering black jeans, overdyes and confident directional finishes.
Stitch’s has revealed its Fall 2010 collection, which emphasizes a variety of stunning silhouettes, a sexier, new improved fit and a fresh color palette. Stitch’s women’s classic styles, the Fox and Seminole, have been updated with a slimmer, seductive fit and a thinner-stitch. Stitch’s Lynx jean legging is popular for it’s sexy cut and second-skin comfort.
New to the men’s line is the Barfly, an updated slim fit, designed especially “for guys who can’t wear super skinny jeans.” Idol stars Katie Stevens, Casey James and AI judge, Kara DioGuardi have all been seen rocking Stitch’s jeans on this season’s American Idol. The Stitch’s collection is inspired by Rock n’ Roll and Americana, designed for the modern man and woman with an emphasis on fit, comfort and clean and distressed washes.
I really like the Lynx legging! It looks like it has a great fit. Do you like the new styles?
Denim Overalls… It used to be the clothing for just farmers… But not anymore! Starting off the trend on the runways was Ralph Lauren and Jean Paul Gaultier with his collaboration with Levi’s. Following behind a couple of seasons after many denim brands such as Citizens of Humanity and G-Star have come out with their versions. The key to wearing overalls is to keep it relaxed. Choose lighter washes and flat shoes. Also choose a flattering fit, more fitted rather than second-skin or baggy.
