I always get excited when Rag & Bone releases a new pair of jeans. They are always unique and never afraid to push the boundaries with their details. Like with these, they have taken their paneled jeans a bit further this season by adding some more futuristic racing details along the side of the jeans. The outcome after adding these new details is their new Halifox jeans.
My eyes widened when I first saw these while scrolling through Nordstroms. To me, they give off a Fifth Element, Aeon Flux vibe mixed with a bit of Tribal and racing. Even with all the details, the color palette makes them easy to style for everyday. I say with a simple green t shirt and some boots or sneakers, that’s all you would need to make these look great. What are your thoughts on them? Purchase a pair from Nordstroms here for $285.
Modern Vice is a New York-based brand that specializes in shoes and in the past few months they collaborated with Natalie and Dylana Suarez, of NatalieOffDuty and ColorMeNana, with their own line of shoes. Most recently they took the collaboration a little bit further and released their first item of clothing, the Rebel Yell Jacket.
The piece takes a different approach from the usual denim/leather styling of denim body with leather sleeves or vice versa. Featuring an American flag printed leather patch on the back, the jacket feels new and fresh with a present vintage feel that embodies the designers themselves. What do you readers think of their take on the ever growing trend? You can click here to purchase this jacket from the Modern Vice website.
Genetic Denim has released a pair of jeans with Barneys New York; the James Capri in Floral. These are a very fresh take on the trend for Spring as they combine greens and yellow with a hint of blue.
Usually the floral jeans that I see around are always in the pink and purple tones, so it’s nice to see a pair without that in. What do you think of them? They are available for purchase on the Barneys website for $232.
Joe’s Jeans is next to release their leather pants in a print for the new season. For their version on the trend, they combined two of the biggest trends, leather with leopard. To keep the pair wearable, Joe’s muted the colors to dark brown tones.
By keeping the colors darker, I find that they can easily be styled. You can pair them with any piece that you would pair a regular pair of leopard jeans with. You can choose to style them with a t shirt and blazer or a muscle shirt and ankle boots. How would you wear these? You can click here to purchase these pants from Joe’s website for $795.
