I came across these J Brand jeans while browsing through Barney’s earlier this week. I instantly thought, “What a really amazing pair!” when I first saw them. It is a mixture of prints that is very unexpected, but work so fluidly. They start off as polka dots on the top of the jeans and gradually go into a check print.
I found that keeping the print monochromatic makes them very chic and versatile. You can easily pair them with a structured jacket (i.e one of the many from the RTW line) and a white button up with sandals or a grey tank and cuffed at the bottom with flats. Another thing that I find great about these is that they are one of those printed jeans that work well worn either slouchy or skin tight.Which is always a positive. One thing that Current/Elliott is known for is their boyfriend jeans. Another thing they are known for is their leather pants. This season they combined both popular styles and released the Featherweight Boyfriend Leather pants. These come in a charcoal, almost brown shade that suits its name perfectly, Smokey.
The boyfriend style for leather pants has quickly become the favorable new style that brands are picking up. They are a great style when you still want to look put together, which is something that boyfriend denim kind of doesn’t give. So how many of you are interested in trying this new style? Click here to pre-order them at Nordstroms for $658.

“Jack Spade selvage denim is woven in the USA on original 31-inch shuttle looms at Cone Denim’s White Oak Plant, which has been continuously producing denim since 1905. The denim is cut and sewn in the USA. The jeans are straight legged with traditional construction and details. The five-piece line is available in dry selvage cotton denim and single wash selvage cotton denim both in a 3×1 right-hand twill. Each pair features custom copper shank and nickel head buttons, custom airplane rivets and single-needle chain stitched seams in a traditional 5-pocket style.”
The new Spring pieces by J Brand are starting to hit stores this month. This season they did not stray away from rich jewel tones like Magenta as well as unique printed pairs like the one above. J Brand didn’t leave out the classic washes like their Alley Cat and Blanc though. Also this season is the comeback of their Big Time wash in their slim boyfriend fit, Midori.
They didn’t leave the softer tones out of the picture. You can see soft oranges for their denim and pale pinks and a soft grey for their leathers. You can see all these styles below and click here to purchase these styles from their site.
