Naturally worn in denim is something that any denim lover looks for. Something that feels authentic whether it is bought that way or done ourselves. Joe’s Jeans has saved that step of searching for all of us and made it easier with their ‘Sun Faded’ collection.
Joe’s didn’t do anything fancy when it came to making the washes. Using natural techniques like a salt wash and sun aging, the jeans embody nothing but the true life of the fabric we all love. This gives them the feeling of being real and as though you have been searching second hand shops for those perfectly worn in ’70s styles, but it is now easier. This would have to be one of the best approaches to vintage inspired clothing that I have see in in a while. What do you think of it? You can click here to purchase these styles from Joe’s now.
We have pretty much seen everyone take on the classic overalls by now. Whether it be tailoring them into a slimmer fit or keeping the fit just as it is and making them in some amazing washes, there is an abundance of them. But MOTHER Denim has taken a step back and rethought the style and came out with something that is less farmer and more mechanics.
Not only has the brand taken the style to a new area with just the zipper detail in the front, they have also done it in a color and a color that feels appropriate with the style. In a worn mossy green, the style feels fresh with a slight edge that the others just don’t embody. What do you think of these new overalls? You can click here to purchase MOTHER Denim from SHOPBOP.
One thing I love when the seasons change is getting new denim! Spring is one of those amazing times in the year when we can put away our thicker and more darker denim and opt for the fresh light shades, lightweight fabrics, shorts, shirts and more! One of my favourite trends for Spring is definitely boyfriend jeans in light washes with distressing! I absolutely adore them and find them perfect for the slightly warmer weather, but not too heavy to make you hot. I also love looser fitting denim shirts, vests and jackets! They keep that breeze off of you but they aren’t thick enough to make you too hot! If you live in a more warmer climate, you can already opt for shorts right now and enjoy wearing those!
The colours I tend to look out for when it comes to Spring denim are pastel shades in rose, lilac, mint, peach and lemon as those are perfect shades! Pastels are so fresh and clean, they are so easy to wear! A print that I love is floral and you can find so many amazing floral jeans lately! Don’t forget overalls either! Those are a trend which will be continuing on from Winter and you can opt for the full length versions or the shorts versions! What jeans are you loving right now? I recently acquired the Paige Jimmy Jimmys in Clifton Destructed just below and am obsessed! I also have the Koral Skinny Jeans in 24 Months as they are perfect too! Reviews will come soon on those! I’ve put together a list of 41 denim pieces here which are perfect for updating your closet with! From boyfriend jeans to skinny jeans, from denim shirts to denim dresses, I’ve covered everything! I know there will be pieces here you love! Happy shopping!
As one of the frontiers of premium denim, Paper Denim & Cloth has been one of the few brands that has kept true to the focus on denim over the years. With their new High Rise Straight Leg in Xenon Vintage, they have taken inspiration from vintage fits and did it in a washed out blue that feels as though you have a worn pair that you have been searching ages for.
When I saw these at the Paper Denim & Cloth preview on designer Alex Gilbert, I just thought they were so cool. Between the super washed out blue to the slight rockabilly fit, they are a style that I can see becoming popular this season. You can click here to purchase these jeans from the Paper Denim & Cloth website for $198.
