Finding the perfect length has always been problematic for every woman, even for one of the biggest models right now, Karlie Kloss. Standing at 6’1″, the model had issues finding pairs that are long enough to suit her never ending legs. To solve the problem, she collaborated with Frame to come out with pairs that will not only solve her issue, but also the many other women that have the same problem.

The styles that came into fruition from necessity, not ambition, are the Forever Karlie jeans. Two cuts, a flare and skinny, that have a 40″ inseam. They will be available in light and dark washes that are not only versatile, but classic. Keep an eye out for these when they will be available at Barneys New York, Net-A-Porter, Ron Herman, and Jeffrey in June. Will any of you taller ladies be trying these out?

Here is a look at some new styles that J Brand has for the men this Summer. J Brand is always one to keep their men’s styles classic with a few tweaks here and there to freshen them up, like the Kane in Bowery above, they updated the staple light blue jeans by adding 3D wrinkling at just the waist area and hand sanded details.

They have the Tyler in Varick (image 5), which is an ultra faded style in a super slim fit. A pair that is very on trend this season is the Kane in Ludlow (image 4). These are a pair made of chambray, so they are perfect for beating the upcoming heat. Rag & Bone has released their first distressed style for men. There are two washes to choose from, the ever popular Sheffield that was once only for women, is now available in their RB15X for men (above) and the Destroyed Camden, which is a light washed jean (pre-order here).

Rag & Bone has to be my favorite when it comes to distressing. They always have a natural feel and are never overly done with a heavy hand. The Camden has this vintage quality that I just absolutely love. They make me think of these old Levi’s that I once owned. The Rag & Bone team just got it right with these for the men. Paige Denim has just launched on Net-A-Porter for Spring/Summer 2013 with a selection from High Summer as well as two exclusive styles created specifically with Net-A-Porter in mind. The two exclusives are really cool and inventive!

The Edgemont, a classic silhouette with rocker inspired front zipper details, has been updated in bold statement stripes. Available in classic Black/White and vibrant Poppy Red, the daring styles were created exclusively for the UK retailer. Inspired by the confident and unabashed style of Cara Delevingne and other off-duty models, each piece allows the wearer to give their own take on the street style trend.

I got the chance to see the striped jeans when I was at the press day in London last month as they had a preview of some of the SS13 collections as well. New styles for men are hard to come by. Many are classic styles that are sure to be staples in any man’s closet. After seeing this new style for the men by Hudson, I was nothing less than thrilled. Yes the biker jean is nothing new, but it is a change from the classic blues every season.

The details on these are the classic biker style. They have welt hip pockets (which are a huge detail this season) along with the detail stitching along the knees and thighs. One thing that I find makes these better amongst the other biker jeans is that the moto details on the knees go all the way around the jeans. Summer is in the room with J Brand. They have new styles in bright vibrant washes as well as washed blues that are perfect for the warmer weather.

First are the new Clean Capris (above) that come in strong fuchsia and yellow hues. These are the new take on their denim leggings. They redesigned them into a pull on style with no front pocket or fly detail. Instead they have a side zipper at the hip to make them easier to put on. One detail that they did not dismiss are the back pockets. So you can still easily keep your belongings close to you.

They also have classic styles like a pair of skinny jeans that come in a pale blue with subtle fading that can be worn for any occasion when the weather warms up. J Brand didn’t leave out the shorts. The chino is a classic for men during the warmer weather. They are lighter weight and can easily be worn with anything just like jeans. For the past few seasons many brands have released new takes by making them in washed out tones as well as colors and prints.

For this season, Joe’s Jeans did just that. For their Brixton Trousers, they have an array of extracted colors, or washed out. One trend that screams Summer to me is dip-dye. For this season Hudson took it up a notch by doing the trend in colors instead of the usual dark denim/bleached out styles.

They have also given you the choice of the style in shorts. You can choose between lavender/white or tangerine/white combo in the shorts and a jade/white or pink/white combo in their full length jeans. These printed jeans have to be one of the best, if not the best, pair of printed jeans that I have seen anyone design. They are the new Ankle Skinny in Crochet by Current/Elliott. These will keep you on point with the eyelet trend without revealing any skin.

What amazes me about these is the attention to detail. Many prints don’t line up, which I completely understand, so when I clicked on these and saw that everything was aligned, it just took them to a whole new level. What also takes these to a new level is that they have a bit of an embroidered/3D effect to them, but don’t have a heavy handed feel to them. They feel smart and I find them to be very Parisian chic. Cargo shorts have come a long way from the classic canvas styles by Abercrombie and Hollister. Which I still do find are some of the greatest that I have ever come across because of their sturdiness and classic appeal.

With classic aside, brands like Balmain, G-Star, White Moutaineering as well as others have elevated the piece into styles that are more fun, sometimes sleek and even lightweight.
