Designer Jean Look Books
Levi’s has been bringing new life to their classic styles with designer collaborations and the most recent comes from the opulent Jean Paul Gaultier. Gaultier’s influence is noted on the classic styles in the cone shaped bust. This design appears on everything from jackets and overalls to pants. The collection is available now and starts at $173 and can be purchased here.
This is a brand that every denim lover lusts for. Balmain was kind enough to give us their Men’s Fall/Winter 2010 Look Book. The collection consists of many khaki styles and some cargos (I believe that designer Christophe Decarnin brought back the trend with his Military Militia Collections). There is also of course denim. Decarnin shows that distressed denim is not going anywhere anytime soon and that it is truly wearable each season. Every piece of this collection is amazingly tailored. You can check out the Look Book below.
Here is the brand new Fall 2010 Look Book from the new brand SOLD Design Lab. I am loving their jeans! They don’t use a zipper so all they use is a button, you just pull the jeans on. They are so stretchy so it’s really easy to do. I can’t wait for more of their styles to come out!
Here is the Fall 2010 Look Book for the gorgeous brand Siwy. How many cute jeans are there in these pics?! I’m really liking the boyfriend skinny, the new distressed washes, the flared bottom jean and the creative zippers and abstract washes. Michelle has done an amazing job with this new collection! Lots of these are now going on my ever growing wish list! What do you think of the new styles? One thing I love about Siwy Look Books is the creativeness of the props, they are always full of flowers, fabric, bows and interesting objects. I think that makes them much more appealing. It’s always nice to add splashes of colour to denim.
