Designer Jean Look Books
Here is the Spring 2012 Look Book from Joe’s Jeans for the guys. I actually really like this collection overall, I like how they combined bright jewel toned denim, like rich reds and aqua and sapphire blues with some more vintage looking army greens and burgundy.
There is a whole mix of colours and styles throughout this Look Book. I’m not a fan of the striped shorts, but I do like the styling overall and a lot of the jeans. I think I prefer this collection to the women’s! What do you think guys? Are there any pieces here that have caught your eye?
Here is the Spring 2012 Look Book from Joe’s Jeans for the women. They combined a lot of bright colours in this collection with some classic blue denim and I think they all compliment each other very well.
I like the dusty pink pair of skinnies above and the pastel shades in pale yellow and mint green, but I also like the leopard print and the bright yellow jacket. What do you think of their Spring looks? Do you have a favourite?
The women’s Spring/Summer 2012 Levi’s Made & Crafted collection hit the stores a couple of weeks ago. The collection is inspired by late 60’s Levi’s catalogues from the Levi’s San Francisco Archive. The look during that time was clean, colourful west coast preppy cool, in the spirit of Steve McQueen & Jacqueline Bisset (their film, Bullitt, was shot in San Francisco in 1968.)
This colourful, late 60’s influence is overlaid onto Levi’s Made & Crafted’s usual blend of beautifully made, tailored workwear with crafted details. It’s the refined, modern expression of Levi’s heritage. You can see the 3 key looks in the gallery below. What do you think of the new collection?
Here is the new men’s Spring 2012 collection by Insight. Like the women’s, this one has some great pieces. The printed jeans above and the short sleeve denim shirt would have to be my favorite pieces. There are also some really great washes. The light washed blue is just amazing. I also think the colored pairs are great, especially the purple.
I really do think Insight makes really nice pieces. I have, and still wear religiously, a denim shirt by them that I got a few years ago. I also have a few tanks and tees that I really covet. They have really great graphics on them. This is definitely a brand that I think you readers should try out if you haven’t yet. You can click through the look book below.
