Rachel Nguyen is one of my favorite fashion bloggers and I love following along with her oh-so-chic lifestyle. Rachel resides in LA and loves to showcase the beautiful little nooks of the city as well as everything style in her newest addition to blogging, her Youtube channel. Not only does she take you around her favorite parts of LA but you can also get a peek into her apartment, her style, her daily routine and anything she’s feeling that day. Stemming from Thatschic.net, Rachel’s Youtube channel is a more personal and visual way to get to know the fashionista and now, my new favorite thing to tune into. Rachel’s videos are simple, inspiring, eye catching and you can always count on them having great tunes to set the tone and have you feeling the feels.
The return of Ksubi continues to reinvent its roots and this time they have dabbled back into the graffiti and self-repaired punk vibe. You can see new styles from overalls, graffiti for women and classic sun-bleached for men, to leather pants and even jackets emblazoned with flames. Along with the new denim, they have knits that are distressed and given the ransom note treatment with the graphics.
This is definitely a collection that had me smiling because the soul of the brand is there, but it’s fresh from the new underlying California vibe. I definitely get more hopeful to see what they will continue to come out with and how much more they will push the boundaries. I can’t wait to see who we catch out in the safety pinned jackets and those printed overalls. You can check out the new collection below. Which are your favorite pieces from the line?
The Spring/Summer 2015, Blue Collar Worker collection embraces influences from the British 1930’s Cornish fishing community, including ecru selvedge denim jeans and striped tops, which complement the existing range of proofed cotton coats, denim over-shirts, checked work shirts and indigo jersey products.
Blue Collar Worker prides itself on being a British brand for guys with denim made of quality for breaking in, instead of following trends. Check out some of the photos in the Look Book below. Are any of you guys a fan of the brand?
Ksubi is back in full force and with their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection, aptly named, Bring Back Life, it is like they never went away. The collection is full of signatures by the brand, like dark and washed denim along with their knit pieces that range from distressed to classic.
Though full of signatures, there is a slight new vibe that comes off very invigorating. There is a fresh and easiness to the new collection that embodies their new home in Venice, California without losing the edge that they are known for. Seeing this makes me even more excited to see what is to come from them. You can check out the new look book below and start shopping the label again at SHOPBOP.
