LOOK BOOK: IRO Women’s Spring/Summer 2012
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! IRO just gets it right each season and their Spring/Summer 2012 collection is no different. There is also the return of Dewi Driegen this season. No other model depicts the IRO aesthetic better than her.
For this season the looks had range. It had everything for every type of girl. Many of you will not be disappointed. They ranged from ethereal to their classics, laid-back Parisian cool and the Rock chick. One thing that I did notice this season, that is different than their past ones, is that there are no leather pants. Something that is not necessary each season, but I just enjoy seeing the new details they put into them each time.
The pieces are just amazing. My favorites would have to be the knits. The one from Look 9 is perfect. I also love the jackets from Looks 2 and 18. The jeans came out in some great washes and prints as well. They had floral and feather/fan print, as well as yellows and blues. Everything is just perfect. You can check out the Look Book below.
LOOK BOOK: Ksubi Spring/Summer 2012
Ksubi will always have a certain spot in my heart when it comes to premium denim. They were the first brand that made me fall back in-love with denim again and the one that got me addicted to ankle-zips (I seriously think no skinny jean is complete without them). Plus they were the one of the first ones to come out with the super skinny jean. So we should all thank them for that.
Here is their new Spring/Summer 2012 look book. The name of the collection is WAR. The vibe of the collection is very grunge. There was no lack of leopard, washed out blues, blacks and leather. I just love the color palette. When I saw all the olive green and outerwear, I instantly fell for this collection. That tan leather jacket with the leopard cuffs is just everything. I can see many girl’s wanting it. Hey…I want it. It’s so cool! I also find their studded denim jacket, baseball jacket, and hoodies are pretty insane…in a good way.
There is some new detail that Ksubi added to their jeans as well this season. The men’s jeans feature some motorcycle stitching and the women’s feature leather. There is also a distressed pair of jeans that have leopard patches inside the jeans. The women weren’t left out of the leopard denim either. They also came out with a tan leopard pair for the women. You can see the full look book below.
LOOK BOOK: DL1961 Spring/Summer 2012
Here is the new Spring/Summer 2012 Look Book from DL1961. The brand is featuring lots of colour, neons, pastels, paneling and waxing in this collection along with their classic blue styles. I think this is DL1961′s brightest and most fun collection to date! I love the yellow pair above, the red waxed skinnies, the neon pink, the red cropped skinnies and more! It’s such an amazing collection and there literally is something for everyone here! What do you think of the new styles? Are you a fan too?
LOOK BOOK: Rich & Skinny Spring/Summer 2012
Here is the new Rich & Skinny Spring/Summer 2012 Look Book. The brand has focused on colours for so many years and now the trend is back in full force! They decided to use their colour addiction and take it to the next level though. They have coloured denim with laser prints, wax coatings, foil treatments, tie-dye washes and even ombre style jeans! The blue and pink ombre pairs are my favourites! What do you think of the new collection from Rich & Skinny? I’ve always been a huge fan of the brand!
LOOK BOOK: MiH Jeans Spring/Summer 2012
Here is the brand new Spring/Summer 2012 Look Book from MiH Jeans. The images were shot in the countryside and I love the old vintage feeling that it gives the photos. The styling reminds me of the 70′s too, but in a much more modern way.
I’m loving some of the flared and boyfriend styles, I also adore the shorts paired with the blue spotted shirt above! That has to be one of my favourite looks from the Look Book! You can see all of the images in the gallery and I have also included a behind the scenes video of the shoot below. It really captures the imagination behind the photos, in my opinion.
LOOK BOOK: Current/Elliott Spring/Summer 2012
I quite like this look book. I think the themes that Current/Elliott come up with each season are just great. The backdrop is just amazing. I love the old Southern looking home. I like that this one looks like the girls are off at boarding school in the South.
For this season they didn’t use flowers as props like most of their Spring look books. The main floral detail was of course the jeans. The print came in shorts and jeans. There were also denim shirts and the return of the dresses in the classic blue this season as well. I also love the return of their distressed jeans. I think they make one of the best.
My favorite piece would have to be the khaki leathers and tops. I don’t think I have ever seen a pair of Current/Elliott Leathers that I didn’t like. They just make one of the best due to their simplicity. Their tees and tanks are amazing as well. I hope to see some of those stripes in their men’s collection. You can see all the pieces from the look book below.
