Designer Jean Look Books
There is a new denim brand on the scene, based out of London, called Bethnals Ltd. and you can see the new Autumn Winter 2014 look book here. The brand was created by denim lover, Melissa, who used to be the senior buyer for Topshop, working exclusively with jeans and denim for six years, so she has plenty of experience in the industry.
Bethnals is a London-born, unisex, denim brand and as a Londoner herself, as well as a religious denim-wearer, Melissa couldn’t understand why in a city defined by its lack of definition, we are still divided by gender when it comes to denim. Melissa thinks men shouldn’t have to sneak into the women’s section to get their jeans skinny enough and women shouldn’t have to actually have a boyfriend to get the right ‘boyfriend jeans’ and that’s why Bethnals is here. She is a true tom boy, and has been developing a new generation of jean perfectly cut to work with both the male and female silhouette.
You can take a look at the full look book below! What do you think? The prices will start at £75 for core styles up to £125 for selvedge. I think that’s a great in-between price from high street to premium!
Here is an exclusive behind the scenes look at the Denimocracy Fall 2014 collection! The video showcases the models shooting the outfits and a complete 360 feel of the look book itself. Check it out!
For those of you not too familiar with Denimocracy, it’s a premium denim line that offers a lot more than the normal denim. They are known for their amazing Anarchy knit denim as well as the quality and new technology of their denim. With an innovated stretchy material to fit your body’s curves and are comfortable enough to wear on any occasion! They never sag or bag and will fit as if they were the first time you put them on.
From metallics to bold colors and bootcut to skinnies, I think Denimocracy has a great collection here! You can purchase the pieces online at their website and you can watch the video above. What do you think?
Here is a look at the new C of H men’s collection under the new creative direction of Simon Miller. For the new collection, Miller offered washes that we don’t normally see by Citizens. This season they felt more washed and worn compared to the classic clean styles that the brand is known for. Don’t worry though, those washes are still available.
Also new are some new cuts like a couple of skinnies, which we have previously featured. Miller didn’t just stop there. There are jackets that have Japanese inspired detailing as well the classic washed styles that are ready to be added to your closet. You can check out the new C of H collection below.
When it comes to look books, Fall would have to be my favorite to look at by anyone. Citizens of Humanity is one that hits it out of the park each time by keeping a consistent nomadic feel with the styling. From her trips to beachy European towns to roaming the wheat field, the Citizens girl is always the traveler if you haven’t already noticed.
This season the brand styled their new pieces from an embroidered denim vest to new distressed and patched styles as well as some amazing outerwear in a sort of Mongolian gypsy type of vibe. Whether you are a traveler yourself or not, this collection will have you constantly checking the stores for its release. See the looks below.
