Designer Jean Look Books
Here is the brand new A.N.D Spring/Summer 2014 Look Book. I got to see this new collection in London last month during their press day and it was really a step up from the previous one! A.N.D, as you know, are known for not using water in any of their jeans making process, so they have a really natural look and feel to them.
I was wondering how they could create different colours and effects on their denim without using water, but as it turns out, they did something really cool! They painted the colours on! The new collection reminds me a lot of Formula 1 with racing stripes on the jeans and jackets. It’s pretty inventive and fun! You can see the full collection in the gallery below and I will be posting photos from the press day soon!
For the Spring/Summer 2014 collection, Simon Miller took their man to the Southwest. The washes were sun-bleached and worn in ways to feel as though they are naturally worn without straying from the Simon Miller soul.
Along with the washes, new to this season is their new M001 narrow fit and new shirting, like over-dyed styles and a baseball jersey. They didn’t stop there. This season also marks the venture into footwear by collaborating with Australian brand Volley. The outcome? Four pairs of shoes in four different denim and indigo variations in clean silhouettes. You can see all of these styles and more below.
The Citizens of Humanity man is always classic, no fuss and confident. He knows his favorite pieces and is constantly up for new interpretations to enhance his personal style.
For the new Holiday 2013 collection, Citizens did not disappoint by giving a range of pale tones in smart colorways. They will easily work for the usual day or dressed up with a white button-up for work. You can see all of the new styles below.
Citizens of Humanity is one of the brands that still believes in the heritage of denim. There is never a lack of blue with each season and for their new Holiday 2013 collection, there was every shade possible. It is like looking out at the coast with all of these different shades. So whether you choose a wash inspired by the sky or one that resembles the depths of the sea, Citizens has them all.
They didn’t just stick with the blues though. Whites, greys, and ashy colors were also incorporated, as well as prints. The houndstooth pair in image 13 is one of my favorites. You can see all of the great styles below.
