Events
Welcome Stranger Grand Opening Event
There is a new store opening for the men, called Welcome Stranger. They will be holding an event on October 28th, 2010 at their new location in San Francisco, California. There will also be a pre-event from 5pm-7pm at which you can interview Naked & Famous Denim designer Brandon Svark for 15 minutes. At the main event (from 7pm-9pm) you can expect to here music being spun by DJ Ma Yeah, enter the secret raffle for a one-night only discount, as well as making some funny faces in the Glass Coat Photo Booth. Gap is holding their annual Recycle your Blues event. From October 6th-20th bring your jeans in to Gap and receive 30% off their new 1969 collection. If you become a fan of Gap on Facebook, you can also get another 10% off. Not only do you get a discount on new jeans from Gap but your old jeans will also go to a good cause. Your worn jeans will be used to insulate new homes!
Rock and Republic launches SV18 jean
On September 18th, Rock and Republic celebrated the launch of a new jean, the SV18 jean at Nordstrom in Santa Monica. Rock and Republic teamed up with L.A. Laker’s shooting guard, Sasha Vajacic, to create the new style. The jean features a longer inseam, measuring in at 38″ and a wider leg, which makes it perfect for athletes.
Sasha appeared at the store, meeting fans and signing autographs. Fans also had the opportunity to shoot a basket and win a pair of Rock and Republic jeans and other prizes. Check out the photographs from the event below. You can purchase the SV18 jeans at Nordstrom.com
William Rast celebrates Fashion’s Night Out
William Rast celebrated Fashion’s Night Out with two events on September 10th. First, Trace Ayala and Justin Timberlake stopped by Nordstrom in Santa Monica. At the Nordstrom store, the duo debuted their limited edition sunglasses line and took pre-orders for William Rast’s upcoming shoe collection. They also raffled off prizes, including $500 giftcards for a William Rast shopping spree. Next, the duo headed to Century City, where more prizes were offered, including a grand prize, a trip to Las Vegas to Justin Timberlake and friends, flight and accommodations included! Guests mingled, sipped cocktails beer and tequila amongst models wearing the Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. It sounds like it was a lot of fun! Check out some of the images.
