No, Diesel is not just about denim! What do we think of the new Diesel Scuba League Attack Beachwear collection for men and women? The women’s stuff is hot - not sure what I think about those shorter boardshorts on guys though… Pretty affordable too compared to True Religion’s swimwear line which is approximately $90 for a bikini top and $90 for the bottoms…Diesel’s bikini is $69 for the whole darn thing! Sweet!

Pete Wentz is our Diesel posterboy around the DenimBlog since he’s spotted in them so often, so we thought it appropriate to bring you the exclusive photos of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson at the Ritz Carlton yesterday, and Ashlee is wearing her new ring. Yep - they got engaged. Ashlee denies rumors that she is pregnant. Check out the rock on her hand! It’s hard to look away from the ring, but she is also wearing J Brand 941 Jeans in Jett.

Actress Sienna Miller was spotted out and about in London wearing a new skirt from the Spring/Summer 2008 Diesel collection - it is called the New Karna! Super cute…that’s on my wishlist.
What do you think of the dresses and new jumpers in Diesel’s Online Store? How brave are you - which are wearable and which are not? I like the Smilz and the Kemachi! The Caraq is also cute but I am not sure where I could wear it - its a bit short and busty for the office!

Ah sample sales. If you don’t live in L.A. or NYC, you are out of luck. But not anymore, with sample sale sites popping up on the web! Yesssss.
I checked it out - and yes this site is legit. It’s ILoveSampleSalesOnline.com. Our members have shopped there and this site has been around for awhile - how did I not know?! At a sample sale you may only find one or two items in the same style and color, and often only sizes small and medium. This site has samples and also overstock. At an overstock sale you will find that there are many sizes available and possibly dozens of each item available. The current sale from Diesel is an overstock sale. Their sister site is ILoveSampleSales.com which will notify you of local sample sales in your city.
Also - while we are on the subject - here are links to some of our other favorite online sample and overstock sale sites and some info about their upcoming sales!

Check out Ciara in an outfit from Diesel at the 5th Annual Hip-Hop Summit Action Network’s Action Awards in NYC . She is wearing a dress called “Caraq” which is a coated stretch denim and retails for $370. The shirt is also Diesel, is called “Fortux” - stretch striped cotton popelin and retails for $140.
