It looks as though Gerard Butler is back from helping in Haiti with other celebs like Ben Stiller and Demi Moore. The artists were there with the organization Artists for Peace and justice, which promotes peace and social justice throughout the world. Gerard didn’t look happy to be photographed on a trip to his car, while he dressed down in a pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans and Nike sneakers.
My second review this week is on the Rock & Republic Harlan moto jeans in Hacker Blue. I got these last week from Rock & Republic after seeing them on the website and falling in love! They are so unique and very different to the other moto jeans on the market. They have silver foil specks all over them which adds to that punky/rockish look of the jeans, I love that! The pockets are completely plain (as they should be when the jean is this detailed) apart from zippers on the top of them. They have that classic Rock & Republic fit as well, I find them really flattering on the butt and very well fitting down the legs.
I thought maybe the moto jeans would feel very hard and stiff around the knee but this is not true with these jeans, they are very comfy and they feel like you are wearing just a normal pair of jeans. My only issue with these is they are a very rough denim, I think that’s because of the foil on them, it makes the denim quite hard and not very soft. I’m normally a big fan of soft denim, I prefer the comfort of it. Also I would prefer if they came in different leg lengths as the standard 35″ inseam is a huge hassle to most of us haha but I know that’s how R&R make their jeans. I have to tuck the rest of the leg length underneath until I can hem them but I hate hemming on jeans that are so well detailed because you lose a lot of the prettiness.
These jeans really are the best moto jeans I have ever tried though, I honestly love them. The way they fit is really nice and the pockets are the perfect size and shape, the detailing with the foil is really pretty, it’s subtle in some lights but in others it really stands out. The wash underneath the foil flecks is also a very beautiful blue, it fades from light to darker all around the jeans. They run true to size for me as well, I took a 27 and I am a 27 in R&R. Even though the price tag is pretty high at $385 they are definitely worth the buy if you love the moto jeans trend and love Rock & Republic jeans or the brand itself.
I definitely recommend these jeans to those of you loving this trend! They are gorgeous! Although the denim is rough they are very flattering and slimming down the legs unlike most moto jeans that make your legs look short and chunky. The silver foil splatters make the jeans really unique and pretty. I think they are great jeans from the brand! Buy these jeans here at Rock & Republic.

I’m going to be doing 2 reviews again this week as I missed doing one last week. The first review is on the Siwy Madeline shorts in Lilt wash. I have never tried Siwy shorts before, well in fact I have never really tried Siwy jeans that much, even though I love the washes, they were just a brand I hadn’t gotten around to yet. However, since I got these shorts 2 weeks ago from Michelle, I am in love!! I know I seem to love all of my jeans that I review, but I really do, I love denim so much and I have figured out over the years what works for me and what doesn’t.
These shorts are beautiful! They are not too tight in the legs, they have the perfect amount of room in the butt area, they have the classic Siwy pockets which make them so unique, the wash is very pretty, I love the blue of it, I really like the way the printed pocket lining hangs out from underneath as well, that’s so cute! Everything about these shorts is great! If you are a huge Siwy fan then you will love them or if you are just starting out with siwy, I definitely think you should give these shorts a go! I’ve worn them 3 times already since the weekend, the weather has warmed up so much here.
So many celebs are a fan of Siwy, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Bilson just to name a few! Vanessa was even spotted in these shorts a few weeks ago.
If you are looking for the perfect pair of shorts for Summer then these could be the ones! They are so comfortable, so pretty and really easy to wear, they match almost everything and have really deep pockets which is a bonus. I definitely think they are a must have for the warmer weather! Buy these shorts at Singer22 for $164.

Replay has opened a flagship store at one of the fashion capitals in the world, Milan, Italy on Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Rather than the mass display like other stores, Replay offers a new concept of nature and emotions when designing their 800 square meter store. At the entrance, a display of a hanging garden and waterfall surround the suspended walkway as you walk in. Inside the nature filled flagship, products are displayed in six-meter high bookcases that are handcrafted out of wood and metal. The store also uses the nature concept when it comes to their lighting on all floors, the natural light even reaches down to their basement to light it vibrantly. The store officially opens on April 15th to the public in the area rich with history, architecture and contemporary style. I can’t believe how amazing it will be to experience this store in person. What do you think of it?
